This time cosplaying Denia from Wuthering Waves also fulfills my dream of wanting to be lazy. Just like she says, she's not very good at fighting and just wants to apply for a break. To present this lazy yet slightly mysterious feeling, we put a lot of thought into the set design. The texture of this dress is truly amazing. The dark navy blue main tone paired with those blue fluid dark patterns creates a very rich sense of layering. The skirt hem has a great puffiness, looking especially gorgeous when spinning. The large white bow on the chest is the finishing touch, with the ruby in the middle and the golden chain hanging below maxing out the details. To fit the character's setup, I also drew that deep purple-black four-pointed star totem from the collarbone to the chest area. Although it took a bit of time while drawing, the shot effect is truly authentic. Long translucent dark blue gloves were worn on the hands, and the white line patterns on them match the overall starry magic feel very well. The black straps on the arms were also meticulously tied according to the original design. I must mention these stockings with special torn-pattern traces, paired with black glossy Mary Jane shoes, which not only flatter the leg shape but also add a hint of playfulness. The wig is a soft pink styled into two small buns, paired with black bows and a circular hair accessory featuring a blue gemstone, making the cuteness factor simply off the charts. In terms of makeup, to highlight the 2D anime feel, I used reddish eyeshadow for blending, applied rhinestones, and paired it with vibrant colored contact lenses to make the gaze look more lively. At the shooting location, the background pink cherry blossoms and windmill props created a dreamy feel. To match the lazy persona, I tried sitting on a white long-plush blanket and a side-lying pose. When lying on the side, you need to pay attention to body curves while keeping hand movements relaxed, resting them gently on the bow just like in the photo. The standing pose was slightly livelier, extending both hands as if casting a small spell. To perfectly restore Denia's styling, the preparatory work required a lot of effort. Just the layered wearing of this outfit was studied for a long time, and the choice of petticoat was also crucial—it had to ensure puffiness without looking overly bloated, and the one finally chosen was just right. The hot-stamped gold printing and piping details on the clothes had fantastic reflective effects during the actual shoot. Also, those black human silhouette props scattered in the background were actually cut out by our own hands, just to create that wonderful dimensional feel. The glove material is thin and breathable, but prone to snagging, so I was very careful putting them on and taking them off. During the shoot, because I had to express various lazy and playful postures, the physical demand was actually quite significant. For example, that side-lying photo looks cozy, but in reality, to maintain core stability while letting the skirt hem spread out naturally, we reshot it no less than ten times to capture the most natural instant. Also, for the leg display, to highlight the stocking pattern and leg lines, the angle was found extremely precisely. Everyone can see the design sense of these stockings from the photos—it's truly very interesting. The lighting for this shoot also chose a relatively dreamy pink tone, which matches the original character's atmosphere very well. Overall, I just want to present to everyone a Denia who may not be good at fighting, but is extremely lively and cute.
