Today's Hsin cosplay took quite a bit of thought, from test makeup to scene arrangement.

Let's talk about the makeup and styling part first. The silver-white long hair of Hsin is the soul; I specially chose a base hair with high fluffiness, doing a high updo on top of the head, and leaving long sideburns on both sides to contour the face shape, so that when turning the head sideways, the hair strands will have a natural drape. The Animal ears headband needs to blend naturally with the hair, without making the edges look too rigid. Eye makeup is the focus this time, blended with a large area of red-brown eyeshadow, with the outer corners of the eyes slightly upturned, matched with lengthened eyelashes, plus the huaidian in the middle of the forehead and red markings on both sides of the cheeks, bringing out the unique allure of a fox. Lip makeup chose a glossy bright red, echoing the nail color.

In terms of clothing, this red-and-white color scheme is very eye-catching. The red outerwear features golden hidden patterns and sequins, which refract beautifully under warm-toned lighting. The texture of the plush cuffs is great, enhancing the overall gorgeous feel and echoing the Fox Spirit setting. The most energy-consuming part was definitely that big tail; to present that naturally curved, fluff-abundant arc in picture two, the inside of the tail has a skeletal support, and those golden star decorations on the back needed to be manually fixed to the tail one by one with iron wire, while making sure not to snag the clothes during the shoot.

The scene on the shooting day chose a studio with bamboo curtains, carved wooden furniture, and screens. The light came from the side-rear, creating a retro yet warm atmosphere. Combined with the theme 'Drank in the Monarch's Arms,' the photographer kept guiding me to adjust my state, focusing on the lazy gaze and relaxed posture. For the half-turned-back action in picture one, the key is to slightly lower the shoulders to show the back lines, keep fingers naturally curved, and instead of deliberately looking fierce, a slightly hazy gaze fits the mood better. The cross-legged posture sitting on the plush cushion in picture two is actually not very easy to pose; the tail has to wrap around the side of the body. To make the leg lines look good while avoiding the frame looking too deliberate, the angle of the thighs was adjusted several times, and I also needed to constantly keep my core tightened so the body would present a natural upright posture.

Actually, shooting such characters with Animal ears and tail, the biggest fear is prop exposure or stiff movements. To ensure everyone doesn't see the fixing straps of the tail in the frame, very meticulous processing was done at the back of the clothing and the junction of the hair. Combing the wig is also a hassle; during location or studio shoots, static electricity easily makes the hair strands fly around wildly, and basically every few shots I had to go fix it.

The whole shoot left my body really exhausted, especially the weight of the tail pressing on my waist while still having to maintain a light expression, which is a test of physical strength. But as long as I saw the texture of light and shadow hitting the silver long hair and red sleeves in the original photos, I felt all the tedious preparation work was completely worth it. The essence of fox-type characters lies in that effortless allure; exaggerated body language is not needed, and the gaze and relaxed posture are the most important. I hope this set of photos lets everyone feel the unique atmospheric feel of Hsin.
