Tried the styling of The Shorekeeper from Wuthering Waves at Sissi Selfie Studio this time, and the overall color tone is truly captivating. To restore the character's faint sense of detachment, in terms of costume texture selection, I specifically favored some sheer, transparent tulle so that under different angles of light and shadow, the outfit would present a fluid agility like flowing water.
The studio setting this time also fits the character's temperament perfectly, with a large amount of greenery paired with a vintage piano, constructing a space that is both quiet and narrative. During the shooting process, I repeatedly pondered the lens language, paying special attention to the delicate handling of expressions. The Shorekeeper carries a gentle yet restrained sense of watching, so I did a lot of subtraction on the makeup and styling, using the focus of my gaze to support the character's tension.
In particular, the butterfly elements were a little detail consideration of mine for this look. In front of the lens, the fluttering of the butterflies seems to whisper a kind of deep yearning. From the handling of costume folds to the detail alignment of accessories, with every click of the shutter, I felt like I was breathing with the character. This immersive experience from one character to another is precisely the core reason I love cosplay—finding authentic resonance within fictional art.
