[Arknights Amiya Cosplay] Quiet Echoes Under the Cosmic Solo - Image 1

For this Arknights Amiya Cosmic Solo outfit, all-dark tones of blue and purple light and shadow were paired to create the overall presentation of this photo set. The costume details of this styling are actually numerous. Aside from the iconic massive black plush rabbit ears, the dress body adopts a black main tone with white ruffled borders. The bindings on the cuffs and arms, along with the sheer black stockings design, allow the overall style to retain Amiya's original capability while adding a touch of mysterious magnificence. The short hair with a reddish-brown gradient color possesses a special texture under the dim lighting. This time, I also specifically paired it with black high heels featuring strap elements to elongate the leg lines, allowing for a better grasp of body posture when sitting during the shoot.

The shooting scene was at the Wahuajing Studio, and the water-ripple-reflective floor and dark purple-toned floral arrangements they provided were truly the crowning touch. The photographer cleverly utilized deep blue and violet light sources, combined with the shimmering wave effects on the ground that resemble flowing mercury or liquid metal, to elevate the entire frame into a deep, dreamlike sensation exclusive to Babel. The props were also prepared to fit beautifully: a vintage Roman numeral desk clock, a violin, messily stacked books, and a single blue-purple dried flower bearing traces of withering. Every detail silently whispers stories of the passage of time and the precipitation of memories.

In terms of photography angles, this photo set did not use an overly wide-angle lens, but tried as much as possible to restore the character's original proportions and physical stature. This slightly melancholic gaze straight into the lens perfectly matches the emotion interwoven with responsibility and helplessness in her setting. To coordinate with the texture of the outfit's black stockings during the shoot, the lighting was kept very soft, minimizing the sharpness of highlights to focus heavily on creating the environmental atmosphere.

In post-processing communication with the photographer, we decided to preserve this sense of depth, without deliberately brightening the skin tone or doing excessive airbrushing. Instead, we enhanced the color contrast between the shadows and the environment, making the frames look more like movie stills or concept art for certain indie games. This Cosmic Solo look is actually a major test for hair and makeup coordination. Because the plush rabbit ears are massive, if the hairstyle is too thin, it would look top-heavy. Therefore, a slightly fluffy and layered short choppy hair styling was adopted, which, paired with the color of the contact lenses, made the gaze more focused.

A combination like a vintage desk clock and a violin inherently carries an elegance. Coupled with this slightly shattered and melancholic gaze, it might make people feel that this Amiya is a bit weary. But just as the post description says, the former igniters have departed, yet the fire still burns, and Babel has never truly fallen. Through this dark style cosplay photo set, I hope to convey a moment of tranquility for the character after a long journey. There is no need for exaggerated actions or expressions; sitting quietly here, letting the water-ripple light and shadow serve as a flowing backdrop, is enough to build a narrative feel. Although this outfit leans toward a dark style, under the modulation of light, the reflections on the skirt hem and the material of the stockings can still beautifully showcase the character's inherent girlishness. I am personally extremely satisfied with the final photos this time, where the placement of every prop was adjusted repeatedly, especially that opened book pressed with the dried flower, which looks as if it truly records some fragmented chapter. Ultimately wrapped in cool-toned blue and purple, this serene atmosphere was pushed to its absolute limit.
