Today, this Amiya cosplay photoshoot is finally ready to share! The main aesthetic theme for this shoot is a black-and-blue techwear style, which differs significantly from the looks I've explored previously.
Let's start with the wardrobe: the black trench coat features a vivid azure satin lining that reveals rich textural layers beneath studio lighting. The sleeves are designed with functional zippers and utility pockets, maxing out the techwear vibe. The base layer is a crisp white ruffle-trimmed blouse tied with a blue neckerchief, paired with a blue-and-black plaid pleated skirt below. To capture Amiya's defining traits, I wore a pair of oversized bionic Bunny ears—mottled brown and white with pink inner shells and realistic fur grain. For makeup fidelity, bright blue contact lenses were chosen, and the long straight brown wig was lightly dusted with shimmering flakes for maximum detail.
Arriving at the studio, I selected classic props to harmonize with the attire: a tall barstool and a folding step ladder. In the first set, I perched on the barstool with crossed legs, resting my chin on clasped hands. This pose beautifully showcased the pairing of Black stockings and platform shoes, giving off an imposing, composed aura. The second set incorporated a bouquet of white flowers, softening the rigid edge of the techwear while introducing a tranquil, gentle mood. Later, sitting atop the ladder with arms extended outward provided an expansive pose that highlighted the tailoring and dynamic flow of the trench coat. The final set had me seated on the floor, cradling a plush teddy bear and gesturing toward the camera. As many know, shooting in Black stockings requires constant vigilance over leg tension—especially when crossing legs on a high stool, where a momentary lapse can thicken the silhouette. I made sure to point my toes firmly, using visual extension to sculpt clean leg lines. While platform shoes offer great height, sitting for hours before standing up definitely leaves the feet aching.
I've always believed Amiya possesses an extraordinary blend of resilience and gentle warmth. While clad in a cool techwear trench coat, her white inner blouse and pleated skirt preserve her girlish sweetness. Just as the popular meme goes: the little bunny is utterly adorable, yet she shoulders immense burdens. During the shoot, I strove to channel her outwardly calm yet inwardly unshakable mindset. To convey this effectively, I poured considerable focus into eye expression, maintaining a cool, collected, yet profoundly tender gaze.
Accessory details were equally critical: both hands were adorned with multiple bright blue rings, nails were polished in matching vivid blue, a blue bangle wrapped the wrist, and a blue anklet cuffed the left ankle, bringing the palette into harmonious unity. Built predominantly on black, white, and blue, the set required no cluttered backdrop; a pristine pure white studio instead allowed every sartorial nuance to shine. Though physically demanding, seeing the fabric textures and chiaroscuro alignment in the final frames made every bit of effort deeply worthwhile.
