[Exusiai the New Covenant cosplay] Arknights Exusiai: Dashing Moments Captured - Image 1

Today, I headed straight to the Disorderly Paradise Arknights only-event dressed in this Exusiai the New Covenant cosplay ensemble. I trimmed the layered red wig multiple times, shaping subtle curves into the fringe and side locks so that, paired with golden-yellow cosmetic contacts, my gaze looked sharp yet laced with her signature playfulness. The silver cross-star hairpin on the side of the head served as the crowning touch; securing it took extra care to ensure it wouldn't dislodge during dynamic posing.

This cropped black leather jacket took a long search to find just the right cut—the shoulder lines are crisp and structured without slouching, and the red piping along the edges was hand-stitched to echo the circular insignia badge on the chest. The inner long white duster has a lightweight drape that billows cleanly with movement, featuring printed abstract black motifs that faithfully match the design. For the lower half, I styled black shorts with leather thigh garters and multi-tiered straps wrapping along the legs, adding sharp visual depth. Both hands were fitted with black fingerless leather gloves, where red wrist accents flowed into trailing crimson ribbons. Reaching out with my right hand allowed those red cords to weave naturally through my fingertips, lending striking tension to frozen frames.

To complement the venue's ambiance, the makeup deepened eye contours with a subtle smudge of red eyeshadow at the outer corners, harmonizing with the overarching red-and-black palette, while the base was kept matte to avoid oiliness under venue spotlights. Moving around the hall, although the outfit carries numerous accessories, securing everything beforehand ensured mobility wasn't hindered when striking poses.

Surrounded by fellow fans who adore Anime cosplay, each dressed in distinct styles, mingling and taking photos before convention booths felt exhilarating. Several attendees recognized the design and stopped by to chat, letting us swap notes on garment sourcing and wig maintenance. Before the lens, I continually hunted for the best flutter in the red cords, fine-tuning finger spread, shoulder angles, and eye direction to bring out that distinct dashing confidence.

We shot inside the hall for several hours. Even in an air-conditioned venue, wearing heavy leather gear during non-stop takes inevitably felt stuffy, but reviewing the captured frames made every bit of prep and sweat worthwhile. Wearing every single accessory with precision and channeling the character's bold, sharp presence through body language and tailoring is what makes cosplay so profoundly rewarding. Immersing oneself in such a dedicated community always delivers boundless fulfillment.
