[Priestess cosplay] Arknights: Yesterday's Outfit Record for The Revenge of Arsenus

Yesterday I cosplayed Priestess, but due to being pressed for time, I only ended up with a single Mirror selfie where my face was completely covered by my phone. At first, I felt it was a bit of a pity, but looking at the details of the outfit in the mirror afterward, I figured posting it as a record would be nice. This is the white long coat from Arknights: The Revenge of Arsenus. The tailoring of the coat is crisp and structured, with the black edging on the collar and cuffs adding a touch of sharpness. When wearing it, you must tighten the black leather belt with the metal buckle at the waist; not only does this improve the overall proportions, but it also gives the white coat a nicely cinched silhouette. The skirt is a black pleated skirt with a purple lining inside; having just a hint of purple peeking out perfectly complements the clean black-and-white palette, which is the visual highlight of the entire outfit.

Since I couldn't shoot a full frontal face shot and needed to focus attention on the body, I chose an angle in front of the mirror. Leaning sideways against the counter with one hand holding the phone to block my face and the other resting lightly on the edge of the sink, shifting my center of gravity slightly felt quite relaxed once standing still. The combination of Black stockings and glossy chunky-heeled ankle boots was key to shaping the leg line and echoed the overall black elements nicely. However, because this costume is rather heavy, there was some resistance around the knee bend, making walking slightly stiffer than usual. Fortunately, the silhouette lines were very clean when standing still, making it easy to find good angles.

A Mirror selfie actually tests you quite a bit because mirrors reflect easily and backgrounds get cluttered. So I opted for a brighter area in the kitchen; although the background was slightly messy, it held a strong everyday ambiance, making for an authentic record. I originally planned to set up a tripod for frontal shots, but since packing up took longer than expected, running out of time meant simply standing before the mirror for a quick snapshot. The light hitting the white coat formed a crisp contrast with the Black stockings, and this candid setting actually highlighted the subtle details in the costume design. The wig was given a simple comb, falling naturally over both shoulders without intricate styling, which unexpectedly created a neat contrast with such a formal uniform.

Looking at myself in the mirror truly felt like someone who just finished work, adding a hint of hurried ease. This trial was mainly to experience an everyday casual state without forcing expressions, where the costume's details convey the character's atmosphere. Though the black bag isn't large, it's quite heavy, requiring positional adjustment at the waist so it didn't sway and disrupt the coat's drape. Even with just one photo, all the elements—the ID badge on the chest, the black side bag, the Black stockings on the legs, and the glossy leather shoes—were captured completely. I am very satisfied with this styling, making it a unique and complete cosplay record.
