[Platinum cosplay] Arknights: Tactical Hunter & Heavy Black Bow in a White Studio

Capturing this Arknights Platinum set in a White studio took considerable effort, largely because the massive black bow was far heavier than expected; hoisting it required maintaining strict posture while preventing the bowstring from snagging my wig and costume. Ahead of the session, I researched pose references to plan dynamic postures. Weight distribution while drawing the bow is crucial; anchoring a taut bowstring required turning my torso at a sharp angle to create crisp, decisive lines. Crouching and seated poses were tailored to elongate leg contours, where black Over-the-knee socks paired with heeled tall boots achieved remarkable visual elongation. The costume features intricate layers: a white long coat matched with a translucent cape and black gloves created stark contrast against the pure white cyclorama. To capture kinetic energy in the long wig and fluffy white tail without tangling, a high-velocity fan helped billow the strands naturally.

A bust close-up showcased the blue-and-white striped shoulder accents, while studio strobes sculpted the hard plastic and metal hardware on the compound bow with striking tactile presence. The full-length standing shot demanded core strength to face my legs directly toward the lens while slightly canting my upper body. Despite foot fatigue from rigid heeled boots and constant bowstring adjustments, the pristine studio isolation elevated every detail in this Anime-style photography project.
