I've been into Arknights for quite a while, but this is my first time shooting an official Cosplay photoshoot for W. This red and black combat suit has an amazing texture, and paired with her exclusive hood and tactical gear, it looks exceptionally effective in a heavy industrial port scene. It was quite windy on the day of the shoot, but it actually gave the actions more of a raw on-site feel. For example, that half-crouching pose with weapons felt like it perfectly nailed her dangerous yet charming temperament. This studio session was arranged through a Hangzhou photography booking, and for the outdoor locations, we also ran to several spots across the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, putting a lot of thought into fitting the character. Both photography and videography were involved, and the photographer's control over light and shadow was highly precise—especially the red-and-blue color-blocking atmosphere at night, which turned out even better than expected. Recently, I plan to continue shooting some content for Arknights and Zenless Zone Zero, and creators with the same hobbies are more than welcome to connect and exchange ideas. After all, to make a great cosplay set, good interaction and early preparation are incredibly important. I feel like every shoot is a new attempt; whether it's the understanding of the character or the visual expression, everything is constantly being refined.
