[Michele cosplay] Strinova On-site Convention photo report: Firepower Catgirl!

Today I'm bringing you an on-site Convention photo report of Michele cosplay from Strinova! Pattern-making and fitting this outfit took quite a while, mainly to balance character fidelity with ease of movement. For the jacket, I selected a slightly stiffer, more structured fabric to retain the crisp silhouette; the red-and-blue color-blocking looked exceptionally photogenic under convention lighting. The striped colors of the tie were aligned with the original character concept art as closely as possible, while the waist belt and handcuff props were reinforced on my own—walking around conventions means props easily slip if they aren't securely fitted.

For the wig, I styled twin pigtails, adding internal padding to boost voluminous bounce. The cat-ear headphones atop my head are the true soul of the entire ensemble, instantly channeling the Catgirl aura the moment I put them on. Makeup emphasized the contours of the eyes; wearing blue contact lenses meant deepening the eyeshadow layers to give my gaze an extra-sharp, spirited edge in this Anime cosplay.

Lighting at the venue was quite complex, with booth signage from Philips and EVNIA in the background. To bypass crowds and messy cables, I opted for slightly low-angle shots or utilized on-site standees as foreground framing elements. In the first shot, I lifted one leg slightly—not only did this showcase the boots and leg lines, but it also matched the character's lively yet cool, edgy demeanor. Other poses like hands on hips or adjusting the headphones aimed to convey a casual yet defensive, combat-ready readiness.

For better dynamic motion, craft wire was inserted into the prop tail, allowing me to control its direction when posing. The shorts design made moving around the convention floor wonderfully practical, keeping the full ensemble fresh and sleek. At such a densely crowded convention, preventing makeup meltdown was a massive undertaking; I kept blotting sheets and setting spray on hand, touching up immediately during breaks.
