This time, I took Marisa directly up Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. At an altitude close to 4,000 meters, carrying the equipment up definitely left me a bit breathless, but the moment I saw the snow mountain behind me, I felt everything was completely worth it. This costume was made by Sensenxian; the tailoring is very crisp, and the accuracy of the star and bow details is extremely high. Plus, the fabric's texture looks exceptionally good under the intense plateau sunlight. The wind was incredibly strong during the shoot, and my hat almost blew away, so I had to hold the brim while looking for angles—a safe but thrilling experience.

The lighting on a snow mountain is completely different from that in the city. The UV rays are intense, and the reflection from the white snow is very strong, giving the layers of the apron and skirt hem a very clean presentation. To match the cool tones of the mountain scenery, the post-processing intentionally preserved the contrast between the cold white of the snow and the navy blue vest, making the overall frame more translucent. Marisa herself is a vibrant witch character, and placing her in such a magnificent natural environment actually creates a wonderful fairytale vibe.

Everything from framing to positioning was stepped out by myself, and the way the hair ends were tousled by the wind also perfectly fits the character's easygoing, carefree personality. Though this kind of on-site Snow mountain location shooting is exhausting, encountering good weather and a perfect background provides a huge boost to the final photo results that studio shooting can never replicate. I've always felt that the essence of Touhou characters lies in that agility and freedom, and this time in the snow mountain, I completely let loose. I hope I can find more interesting scenes next time to enrich the possibilities of this character during my future Cosplay photography and Roleplay sessions.
