When shooting this set, I actually put a lot of effort into the hair and makeup styling, especially the pairing of the blonde hair look with blue contact lenses, adjusting it repeatedly to recreate the character's temperament. There are so many details on the outfit; look at that ship-wheel-shaped metal ornament and the blue gem at the collar, every single piece was glued on by hand bit by bit. Also, this black lace choker and the yellow bows on the sleeves create a retro, luxurious feel through their color combination. Honestly, crouching or sitting while wearing a dress with such a large hem really tests your skills, because you have to avoid crushing the pleats while still looking natural and relaxed. That day in the studio, we specifically set up vintage wooden cabinets and an easel as the background, scattered lilies and roses on the floor, and used warm-toned soft light, making the captured skin tone and golden accessory sheen look exceptionally harmonious. Personally, I really like this angle—it showcases the layering of the outfit while preserving that confident look in the eyes. Although I had to be careful during posing not to let the metal parts snag my stockings, all these small precautions were completely worth it for the final photo quality. Post-processing required hardly any color grading because the raw lighting was already beautiful, so I only touched up the skin texture slightly. Every time I suit up in this outfit, I pay special attention to the iconic metal gear on the chest—it really has weight to it. Styling the wig into these fluffy curls took quite a bit of time as well, but the result turned out wonderfully voluminous and dynamic. This dark blue and white color-contrast design, paired with gold trimming, is truly suited for indoor studio shoots, highlighting material contrast excellently.
