This is my first time attempting this character, spending immense energy adjusting everything from wig styling to outfit details. Before the shoot, I specifically studied the character's facial expressions—aiming to recreate that confident yet cheeky charm alongside her sharp focus when shooting arrows in Genshin Impact. This costume features numerous wraps, ribbons, and waist layers, making balancing on Geta sandals a challenge as well. Inside the studio, we utilized paper sliding doors, tatami mats, and red maple props to curate that distinct Inazuma atmosphere during this Shanghai photoshoot booking session. I worked with the photographer on various poses ranging from seated postures to drawing the bow; particularly for the close-up of drawing the bow full draw, controlling muscle engagement without rumpling the costume was crucial. Though the whole process was exhausting, seeing the final images where I truly looked as if stepping into that world made every bit worth it. Through this session, I realized that great Anime cosplay goes beyond putting on clothes—it is fundamentally about mastering character aura and Cosplay photography.
