[Castorice cosplay] The Butterfly Elf in Honkai: Star Rail, Convention Photos Record

The stock of convention photos from this May Day anime convention has finally been sorted out. What bothered me the most about this Castorice cosplay outfit was the recreation of those butterfly elements; from the small butterflies on the gloves to the purple sheer panels of the skirt hem, and the glowing details on the back, every single spot was repeatedly adjusted for a long time. During the shoot, because the light inside the venue was chaotic, in order to highlight the character's cool temperament, we specially found a dark background paired with the circular lamp overhead, which could maximize the expression of the softness of the white and purple tones. That full-body action in image 5 is actually my favorite; with the body leaning forward slightly and the arms naturally extended, it happens to showcase the flowing skirt hem and the lines of the white stockings, and the standing posture was relatively stable. It is worth mentioning the black claw-thorn structure on the hands; I had to be extremely careful when making movements while wearing it, for fear of scratching the clothes. The lens for these convention photos caught the moments quite accurately this time, capturing that atmosphere carrying a touch of aloofness and mystery. Although the venue was highly crowded, the photographer avoided the cluttered crowds, keeping the focus locked onto the facial features and costume details, and I am especially satisfied with the sharpness of the elf ears and hair accessories. The post-processing only finely adjusted the light and dark, without excessive skin smoothing, preserving the texture of the original prints. Sharing this set of photos serves as a memento for the hard work during May Day, and also a small summary of my recreation of the character. Walking around the convention in this thick outfit as part of my cosplayer daily life was actually quite tiring, and the soles of my feet ached after standing for a long time, but seeing the finished photos makes it all feel worth it.
