[Toritani Makoto cosplay] The Moon and the Maid Outfit: A Daily Routine Holding the Moon

Putting on this black-and-white maid outfit and wearing the iconic pink twin-tails wig and black headband, I instantly felt back in character for Toritani Makoto. For this shoot, we specially prepared a glowing moon prop; holding it in hand, the quality of the light is very soft, matching the style of this outfit unexpectedly well. The white top paired with black ruffles and bows, along with fishnet stockings and platform shoes, creates a rich sense of layering for the overall outfit.

When taking the mirror selfie in the second picture, I placed the 2D Galgame character illustration right next to it for comparison. Although it's just a simple daily log, that cross-dimensional feeling is quite fun. During the shooting process, the lighting was slightly adjusted to make my facial contours look softer, and the pleats of the skirt and the layers of hair strands could also be beautifully presented under natural light.

As a detail freak, a lot of thought went into styling the wig and organizing the bows, striving to restore that unique temperament of the character. Although this outfit was shot indoors, combining it with the right props and lighting creates a sense of private theater in the frame. This time, I tried both studio photography and phone selfies to document the look. Different perspectives showcase completely different atmospheres, making it a highly fulfilling shooting experience for this piece of Anime-style photography and roleplay.
