[Vivlos Cosplay] Post-Race Results Moment in a Sailor Suit Palette

I chose to cosplay Vivlos for this Uma Musume Only Exhibition, and the accuracy of the overall styling was the highlight of this preparation. Let's start with the wig. The character's bangs have a very distinct feature—that white crescent-shaped section is the very soul of the hair. To make the transition between this white and the brown look more natural, I layered the hair, using hair wax to mold the specific curve in the front, while tying the thick hair on both sides into pigtails wrapped and secured with vibrant blue ribbons. As for the headpiece, the rabbit-ear-like structure on top features black and gold geometric square patterns accented with bright blue, making it highly recognizable. To prevent it from shifting while walking around and shooting at the venue, I constructed a sturdy internal support structure. Though it's a bit heavy, it was completely worth it for the final photos.

The main outfit is a blue and white sailor suit, with clean and sharp stripes on the collar that transition naturally into the blue shawl patchwork. On the chest is a fairly large royal blue bow tie embedded with a golden diamond decoration in the center, and the metal chains hanging below act as the finishing touch of this outfit, adding a hint of delicate layering to the overall sailor suit silhouette. In terms of fabric texture, I selected a structured uniform fabric so that the shoulders and collar would remain flat and neat without drooping when worn.

The makeup was styled to match the character's clear and fresh aesthetic. For the eyes, the focus was entirely on matching her gaze, so I wore light gray-blue contact lenses to mimic her eye shine. Since we were having a blast shooting that day, I specifically tried a one-eye wink (the perspective in Photo 1), which I felt made the expression look more lively and playful. Sharp-eyed friends might have also noticed that I specifically painted my nails a sky-blue color matching the ribbons on the outfit, allowing for a nice color echo when waving my hands.

The atmosphere at the Uma Musume Only Exhibition that day was fantastic, with many photo backdrops incorporating race-related elements. The 'Lake Uma O results screen' mentioned in the post is actually a fun interactive joke from the venue. Combined with this selfie angle, it perfectly creates a relaxed and comfortable vibe after finishing a race. Cosplaying this blue-and-white character around the hall yielded high recognition, and I met many fellow fans to exchange merch and discuss character details. The warm, bustling atmosphere of a fan exhibition is truly different from massive anime conventions; everyone is gathered around one specific IP because of pure passion.

Looking back at the preparation—from repeatedly trimming the wig to adjusting the outfit's structure and organizing the makeup, hair, and props—I spent quite some time sorting out the details. However, seeing that clean, high-energy state in the final photos brings a great sense of accomplishment. The overall photography vibe of the day was exceptionally refreshing; the bright blue tones combined with the white reflections beautifully conveyed the character's lightheartedness. I hope to have more of these fulfilling and happy roleplay experiences in the future.
