[Nico cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Nico CICF Expo cosplay fitting - Image 1

This time for CICF Day 1, I'm planning to cosplay Nico from Zenless Zone Zero, and today I tried on the full equipment to test it out. The wig is the classic pink big waves; to create that fluffy yet slightly messy feel, I spent a long time trimming and styling it. Two black-and-yellow color-blocked hair clips are pinned to the bangs, adding a small detail of techwear style. The contact lenses were chosen to be bright green, and the eye makeup is relatively heavy, paired with pinkish blush, which will make the complexion look great on camera. Both the lipstick and nail polish were chosen in vibrant red tones. The top is a white cropped short piece, and the black geometric letter pattern on the chest is very eye-catching. Draped outside is a black-and-white color-blocked leather jacket; I deliberately unzipped it and wore it half-off, allowing my shoulders and collarbone to show while showcasing the inner layer and waistline. The black leather choker around the neck and the heart-shaped pendant on the chest are the core accessories. The black belt across the hips features silver buckles and yellow rivets, echoing the color of the hair clips. To recreate Nico's shrewd yet confident vibe, I practiced my gaze and hand movements in front of the mirror, gently placing my fingers near my mouth or tilting my head slightly. The fitting process is also a process of checking for omissions and deficiencies, such as finding that the leather jacket has average breathability; on the day of the expo, I'll need to carry setting spray and a small fan to prevent sweating and makeup melting. The wig also needs a small comb carried along for constant touch-ups. I haven't decided which shoes to wear yet, but considering I'll be walking around the venue all day, comfort is the most important factor. A missing person returns—it's been a long time since I visited an expo. For CICF Day 1, I plan to wander around the venue randomly, see if there are any interesting booths, and look for photographers to take some convention photos. If any friends are also going to Day 1, feel free to come find me to play, add each other, or hang out together. If you see pink hair, yellow heart-shaped earrings, and this black-and-white techwear outfit, that should be me. The overall effect of this fitting is quite satisfactory; the costume has a high accuracy rate, and the props are complete. Next is to note down the areas that need adjustment, and do a final check the day before the expo to prevent missing accessories. I hope to meet interesting people that day, take satisfying photos, and spend a fulfilling day. As someone who hasn't cosplayed in a long time, putting on this outfit again makes me feel like I've rediscovered the passion for attending expos from before. If everyone sees me at the expo, feel free to tap my shoulder and say hello. See you at the venue.
