[Chinatsu Remiel cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Angels of Delusion Trio's Stage Live

The stage shoot for Zenless Zone Zero's Angels of Delusion went remarkably smoothly this time. I portrayed Chinatsu Remiel, teaming up with Aria cosplay and Nangong Yu cosplay to fully recreate this ensemble brimming with musical and idol elements.

The Chinatsu Remiel costume I wore is packed with details: black twin tails paired with pink-and-blue ribbon bows, a main outfit featuring a crisp white shirt combined with black plush sleeve covers, a black cat bow tie alongside a red-and-black plaid necktie across the chest, and a ruffled mini skirt on the bottom paired with tall black boots and cyan bow accents. To achieve cleaner, more flattering body lines, I made numerous adjustments to the layering of the inner top and skirt hem. When it came to legwear in particular, I tested several pairs of Stockings before finding the perfect style that both fit the character aesthetic and complemented my proportions.

My two companions' styles were just as distinctive. Aria wore pale green twin tails with a white shirt, red necktie, pink-striped sleeve covers, and a mini pink crossbody bag. Nangong Yu donned pastel pink twin tails with cyan dip-dyed streaks, covered in star motifs, wearing a white one-piece dress accented with vibrant orange details. We dedicated considerable effort to cosmetics and wig styling—for instance, shaping fluffy, dynamic volume into Nangong Yu's wig, and applying crisp geometric face-paint patterns on Aria's cheek.

Photography was helmed by Strike. The studio set carried an authentic livehouse atmosphere, featuring a vivid pink wall adorned with a massive winged heart emblem. The stage was fully rigged with a drum kit, electric guitars, a keyboard, and microphone stands. Standing under the stage lights, Strike captured our postures across shifting hues of red, green, cyan, and violet.

In terms of posing, we choreographed an array of freeze-frame stage moments—from close-ups pointing directly toward the camera to dynamic poses perching one leg up before the drum kit. We strived to imbue every stance with tension while maintaining tight control over facial expressions, ensuring each shot delivered maximum visual impact. When the spotlights hit us, the metallic specular highlights on the outfits and the tactile fluff of the plush sleeves were captured with pristine fidelity.

The entire shoot was a true test of stamina and team synergy. With so many accessories, the skirt hems and detachable sleeves easily shifted during active choreography, requiring constant touch-ups between takes. Seeing the final selects, however—with composition and color grading matching our vision—made every bit of effort worthwhile. We hope everyone feels the passion we poured into this project.
