Bringing Vivian's summer event look from Zenless Zone Zero to life took extensive dedication from initial preparation to final edits. The wig was custom-selected in a muted lavender with subtle ash undertones, styled with loose beachy waves to embrace the coastal aesthetic. That colossal navy bow adorning the crown carried noticeable heft, requiring countless bobby pins to keep it securely anchored during outdoor movements. The Elf ears blended seamlessly with my natural skin tone, staying comfortable throughout a full day of wear.

The garment details were exceptionally intricate. The centerpiece was a white halter backless piece featuring multi-layered cutout tailoring across the bodice, tied at the neck with a navy striped ribbon bow accented by metallic hardware. Navy strapping, leather belts, and metallic clasps cinching the waist, combined with deep blue panels flanking the hips and hemline, achieved a flawless synthesis of techwear and Summer swimsuit aesthetics. White ruffled arm sleeves, black heart thigh garters, and the butterfly insignia painted onto the thigh served as the ultimate finishing touches. These emblems were rendered using body paint; with soaring temperatures on set, I thoroughly baked them with setting powder to prevent smudging.

The set was dressed as a sun-drenched Beach scene: blue-and-white tiled poolside grounds backed by timber walls and lifebuoys, with golden sand strewn across the floor alongside yellow rubber duckies and colorful ocean pit balls. Harsh overhead noon light made keeping my eyes wide nearly impossible; reclining across the white lounge chair for the low-angle composition demanded constant core engagement to accentuate the abdominal cutouts and bodily contours. Stepping barefoot onto the sun-baked tiles was undeniably searing, yet capturing that languid, unbothered poise in the final cuts was something I adored. Despite the sweltering heat and intricate outfit, beholding the light and shadow sculpting my frame made every bit of effort worthwhile.

In terms of fine nuances, I want to highlight the eye makeup design. Matching Vivian's reddish-brown eyes, I wore crimson contact lenses with deepened outer eye contours, creating striking tension against the cool-toned palette before the lens. Because the long, voluminous wig easily caught coastal breezes outdoors, we performed rapid curl touch-ups between takes to maintain pristine definition.

For choreography, I avoided exaggerated, forced poses. Sitting poolside was envisioned as resting at the water's edge after a swim—tucking my legs inward, resting hands on knees, and letting my gaze drift into an easy daydream. Lounging on the sunbed was the most effortless posture: lifting an arm naturally elongated the torso, harmonizing with the bodice cutouts to project crisp visual dimension without forced posturing.

Those rubber duckies and ocean balls added fantastic pops of color as foreground and background accents. I maintained active dialogue with the photographer regarding lighting angles, utilizing specular natural highlights to elevate dermal texture and garment dimensionality. While the synthetic fabric offered limited breathability in summer heat, its pristine white base provided remarkable bounce fill, keeping skin tones glowing and translucent.

The production was a true test of stamina and meticulous micro-control. From prop staging and garment smoothing to emotional projection, intense focus was paramount. Translating a 2D persona into tangible reality—letting fabrics, props, and setting collide to enrich this summer beach narrative—was an absolute joy, and I hope this breezy summer warmth resonates with everyone.
