This set of Nico's official photos has finally been produced. To recreate that slightly wasteland-ish yet trendy street feel in Zenless Zone Zero, we specially found an industrial-style scene filled with barbed wire, shipping containers, and yellow-and-black warning stripes. The neon tubes and cold, hard metal texture on site set a cyberpunk tone for the entire photo set. To present a perfect state in front of the lens, preliminary preparation must definitely not be taken lightly. This costume has an exceptionally rich sense of layering. For the short black leather jacket on the outside, I intentionally chose a material with a matte texture so that when lighting is applied, it won't reflect excessively while preserving the unique texture of leather. The inner white cropped tank top has a close-fitting cut, and the black-and-white stripe pattern on the chest is very eye-catching. The black ultra-short shorts on the lower body with white plush trim can be said to be the most girlish detail in the entire styling. To balance this softness, I paired it with multiple black belts featuring metal eyelets and fluorescent green studs, as well as leg garters on the thighs, fusing these hardcore techwear elements together for a visually impactful look.

The makeup and styling parts were also polished for a long time. To get close to the character's settings, I wore bright green contact lenses, with the eye makeup lengthened and upturned at the outer corners, and glitter dotted at the inner corners, hoping to capture that slightly cunning yet confident expression. The pink long curly hair is the soul of the entire styling; to make the wig look voluminous without appearing messy, I spent quite a bit of time trimming and capturing the texture. The small hair clips with yellow-and-black blocks on top of the head were also carefully checked for position.

During the shoot, photographer @昼梦的秋岛 gave a lot of composition suggestions. For example, the exaggerated fisheye inverted high-angle perspective used in the first photo was actually to create a visual impact that breaks conventions. Although I couldn't help complaining while looking at the screen that this perspective made my face look round, the tension after the photos came out was indeed very different. For the group sitting on the yellow-and-black alternating metal railing, I tried different sitting postures to elongate the leg lines, and the pairing of over-the-knee socks, leg garters, and platform boots maximized the proportion of the absolute territory. The back close-up shot focused on the geometric partitioning sense of the back straps and that hanging long belt, paired with the interlocking orange and blue neon lights on site, bringing out that capable yet slightly sexy atmosphere. Every time I shoot a character with so many details and complex accessories, I feel it is both challenging and exhilarating. From the matching of clothing materials to the angle of light refraction, every link requires precise control. To present a better effect, the tension of the leg muscles and the exertion state of the shoulders and back also needed to be maintained the whole time. The smoke machine and various cables on site were also troublesome to handle, but seeing the effect of light and shadow flowing over the leather clothing in the finished photos, all these efforts were totally worth it.
