Shooting this mint-colored look required significant effort from the wig down to the accessories. I specifically selected a cool-toned light Mint green wig, prioritizing both density and smoothness; to maintain a neat yet natural curve on the bangs, I lightly shaped them with a curling iron before heading out. The black cat ears atop my head were custom-made, lined with soft pink to contrast with the hair color. Small side hair accessories—white clouds and yellow cubes—along with the black cutout clip on my forehead, were assembled piece by piece. Though tiny, they add rich layering to the overall headwear.

For the outfit, I chose a classic puff-sleeve white top paired with a dark blue overall pinafore dress. The red bowtie and gold collar embellishment serve as visual focal points; combining red, white, blue, and green created an unexpectedly harmonious palette. Delicate lace edging on the cuffs and collar prevents any cheap look, while ruffled wrist cuffs add airy lightness. The lower half features white mid-calf socks paired with black-and-white color-blocked sneakers—this mix-and-match approach preserves the character's inherent playfulness while keeping it wearable for casual outings.

During the shoot, a high-angle perspective was used to emphasize delicate facial features—focusing eye makeup to enlarge the eyes with brown contact lenses and slender eyeliner, capturing an expression both innocent and subtly sly. Simultaneously, it displayed the coordination between skirt hem and footwear details. The second image shows a more relaxed state with hands resting naturally and head slightly tilted upward for a warm, approachable look. The finger-heart gesture adds interactive charm; though I personally favor the natural standing posture shot, each carries its own distinct charm.

Before preparing this cosplay set, I analyzed the character's core color logic: while the clash of mint green and red is quite bold, neutralizing it with large areas of white in the costume prevents visual chaos. When trimming the wig, I intentionally layered the sides to avoid a rigid silhouette. Props were kept minimal, focusing instead on everyday realism and actual photo results rather than carrying heavy weapons, relying entirely on expressions and body language to convey her aura.

The shooting environment was simple—a clean off-white wall allowing costume colors and hair shades to pop fully without background distraction. After straight-out-of-camera capture, skin tone was subtly tuned to preserve a cool fair porcelain texture, while a natural rose pink lip color kept focus balanced. I feel this styling is ideal for anime conventions or outdoor shoots: light, mobile, and guaranteed to turn heads. From securing the wig to managing skirt folds, overall wearability was great without neck constriction or cumbersome drag. I hope everyone appreciates the balance struck between character faithfulness and personal aesthetic. In the end, this photoshoot was pure joy, with every shutter click capturing the lively energy of this Cat-ear maid look in Zenless Zone Zero!
