This studio shoot for the Cunning Hares boss from Zenless Zone Zero was set in a heavy industrial style studio, bringing out the full gritty vibe of an abandoned factory. A lot of effort went into the costume details—especially the geometric print on the chest and the black leather shorts, which deliver a powerful visual impact. During the shoot, I needed not only to open up my poses dynamically, but also to coordinate the yellow gloves at my waist with the metal briefcase to match her sharp, action-oriented character. The warm lighting in the studio worked wonderfully to carve out contours, making the color-blocked design pop even more. Although managing the surrounding steel frames and cables was somewhat tedious, these adjustments were essential to recreate that street wasteland atmosphere.
When portraying characters with a heavy mechanical and empowered feel, sharpness in posture and movement is crucial—you can't look soft or weak. To find the most natural standing posture and dynamic energy, we repeatedly adjusted the angles for kneeling and holding the briefcase while ensuring leg lines and leather textures translated crisply onto camera. I am quite satisfied with the final result, and I hope this Cosplay photoshoot allows everyone to feel the signature style of the Cunning Hares.
