This time, I shot Velina from Zenless Zone Zero at the P2 Space studio. The audio equipment and vintage TV wall in the scene fully maximized the atmosphere, perfectly matching the character's stage idol temperament. The blue velvet fabric and white lace trim on the costume have many details, especially the strap structures at the neckline and waist. It takes some time to adjust when putting it on, but the final look on camera is highly accurate.
The folding fan is the soul of this look. Its unfolded curvature coordinates perfectly with hand movements. To find the best angle during the shoot, we repeatedly tried the fan's orientation and degree of opening and closing. The white stockings paired with silver sequined high heels visually elongate the leg lines, but doing high-leg lifts and sitting sideways while wearing heels demands high core strength, requiring gripping with the toes to maintain stability.
The photographer @吃冰的冰焰 is excellent at catching movements, accurately capturing that dynamic yet effortlessly composed state I wanted. We chose three different setups this time. The pose in Photo 3 with one leg raised high put my balance to the ultimate test; using the folding fan style as a visual guide, combined with the flying silver-white hair, it offers a great sense of dynamism. The character designs in Zenless Zone Zero have always been highly unique. Velina's white-haired elf ears look and hair accessories show very clear textures under strong light, and the post-processing basically preserved the natural gloss of the studio cosplay shoot. Although the poses were physically demanding, the character's signature sense of composure completely shines through in the final photos. I hope this restoration of character details allows everyone to feel Velina's charm.
