This outdoor shoot features Shimoe Koharu's Taiwan collaboration merch skin from Blue Archive, which is the summer-vibe outfit you see here. When I first got this costume, I felt it was perfect for an outdoor shoot with plenty of light. The overall color scheme is very bright, and the lively, refreshing feeling of wearing it is incredibly eye-catching.

Let’s talk about the outfit coordination first. The top is a pink-and-white plaid crop top with deep pink patchwork piping at the neckline and hem. This cropped version is very flattering and perfectly showcases the cool breeze of summer. For the bottom, it's paired with a dark blue denim miniskirt. The hem features a double-layered ruffle cut, providing rich layers when moving or sitting. The shooting location was chosen at the outdoor stairs around the Guangzhou Anime Convention. The strong natural light hit the steps, handrails, and surrounding greenery, forming a very three-dimensional light and shadow effect. This time, the photographer also placed the focus beautifully on my face and the texture of the clothes, blurring the modern buildings and green trees in the background through a large aperture, making the subject stand out more.

We put some thought into the shooting movements and poses, wanting to capture a casual yet energetic summer outfit state on a summer afternoon. For example, the sun-shading action of lifting the hat at the beginning mentioned earlier can balance the colors of the frame very well; there is also the action of standing on one leg and stretching out in the third picture. This kind of dynamic snapshot is actually quite a test of balance during capturing, but it can make the character look more alive.
