Choosing 'cake decorator' as the thematic entry point to present Genshin Impact's Nilou was an attempt combining sweet fantasy with detailed restoration. When conceptualizing this Custom western dress design, I wanted to retain the character's lively disposition while infusing more of a cozy, adorable 'bakery daily life' feel. The wig retained her iconic high-saturation red hair, meticulously brushed into a fluffy, layered state. The bangs were cut just right, preserving an energetic feel without being too thick or obscuring eye features. To complement this dreamy atmosphere, the makeup featured a clean, translucent base, focusing heavily on under-eye blush blending along with subtle shimmer eyeshadow, making her gaze appear bright and spirited, presenting a soft yet lively presence before the camera.

Regarding the outfit, I chose a light blue and white dress that perfectly aligned with the \"cake decorator\" theme. The skirt hem and cuffs utilized delicate ruffle designs, decorated with pink bows of varying sizes at the collar and waist for maximum sweet charm. Particularly worth mentioning are the small animal embroidered patches at the shoulders; such cute details added a touch of playfulness. On the head, a lace headband paired with plush animal ears not only enriched visual contours but also brought the look closer to this cute fan-concept setting. This outfit heavily tests fabric hand-feel and tailoring; during preparation, I paid special attention to selecting soft, subtle-luster fabrics that convey a gentle texture under warm lighting. On the legs, white plush-ring knee-high socks paired with cream-colored leather shoes balanced the color scheme, creating a smooth transition between the red hair and the Anime-style fashion dress.

Scene construction was another part I thoroughly enjoyed. The location featured indoor surroundings built with wooden elements and soft lighting, carrying a warm, everyday quality. To highlight the keywords \"cake decorator\" and \"dreamy,\" a large transparent bubble sphere served as the main prop. Inside the bubble, a green plush rug was laid out, accompanied by artificial flower bouquets, small glowing light strings, and green butterfly decorations. Positioned within this bubble environment, it felt like stepping into a fairytale space woven from desserts and flowers. During shooting, I also used fine miniature models as intersecting props, such as a clear jelly figurine placed in a gold-rimmed spoon, along with small ornaments in a wooden bowl co-existing in the same frame as real food (like ramen, kimchi, and pink iced drinks). This weaving of daily life with anime elements filled the photos with narrative depth.

During the shoot, I experimented with various angles and poses to interact with the set. For instance, reaching outward through the edge of the bubble sphere, or leaning against a wooden doorframe standing on one foot—these actions fit the character's lively personality while better displaying the garment's overall silhouette. Under the soft light diffusion of the balloon sphere, facial lighting was evenly distributed, making the eye makeup and red hair pop prominently in the frame. For this custom concept, I believe the most crucial aspect is not just restoring physical features, but conveying that healing, breezy atmosphere belonging to Nilou through carefully matched props and clothing. From garment folds to wig flow, and every light setting and prop placement, the goal was to materialize this unique creative concept. As a cosplay endeavor, I immersed myself in creating a tiny universe through costumes and props, producing a final result I am personally very satisfied with.
