This set of styling is inspired by Kamisato Ayaka from Genshin Impact, but it intentionally discards her original gentle 'Shirasagi Himegimi' persona, choosing instead to try this highly contrasting style of an Inazuma mafia godmother. This photoshoot mainly aims to convey a temperament that is both cold and domineering, yet holds a touch of mysterious charm.

In terms of hair and makeup, the outfit selected is a deep blue-black off-the-shoulder Japanese-style dress. The gold trim and white ruffles on the edges blend together, looking premium without being dull. To fit her identity as a mafia heiress, I paired it with a black leather collar choker, with the gold tassel pendant in the front acting as a perfect accent to visually extend the necklines. The waist is the visual focal point: the wide sash (obi) patchworked in white, blue, and red, combined with the bow tied with a thick red rope knot and the draping tassels, breaks up the monotony of the dark clothing like a hidden declaration.

To highlight the character's coldness, I specifically chose bright blue contact lenses, paired with a faint reddish blush on the cheeks and under the eyes, separating my facial aura from the gentle feel of the original character. On the silver-white straight hair with blunt bangs, there are not only black-and-gold bows but also carefully placed light blue butterfly hairpins and an exceptionally gorgeous golden flower hair accessory on the right side. These details fully stack up the cold, elegant vibe without looking flat.

Three main props were used during the shoot: a katana, a Japanese-style paper umbrella, and a folding fan. In those shots holding the katana, I intentionally sharpened my gaze, which, combined with the off-the-shoulder outfit, emphasized the lines of my shoulders and the proportions of my neck, aiming to create an aura of being ready to draw the sword at any second. However, when switching to the paper umbrella and the folding fan, my posture and gestures had to be pulled back immediately, presenting a combination of charm and composure that perfectly aligns with the mafia godmother persona.

The background was set under the cherry blossom trees at night. The large clusters of cherry blossoms are completely out of focus, which, combined with the high-key backlighting intentionally set up by the photographer, hits the silver hair and skin to form a soft, dreamy halo around the frame. This lighting treatment perfectly neutralizes the stiffness of the dark clothing, giving the entire set of photos a sense of decisive, ruthless action within a cold wonderland, maxing out the atmosphere.

But to be completely honest, shooting night cherry blossoms in the middle of the night wearing an off-the-shoulder dress was absolutely freezing. Plus, with the wide Japanese-style sleeves and wooden geta clogs, movement was actually quite restricted—especially holding a sword and keeping that pose still, which made my muscles very tense. However, seeing the light-and-shadow play on the fabric folds and the natural drape of the tassels in the final photos made all the freezing and posing struggles entirely worth it. What I wanted was not a traditional gentle young lady, but a mafia heiress who can maintain her elegance amidst the clash of swords. From this perspective, the concept and emotions conveyed in this set of photos are spot on. Playing with breaking conventional settings like this is easily the most satisfying part of this set.
