The client photos for Ningguang cosplay from Genshin Impact shot at HoYo Wonderful House are finally ready! Entrusting them entirely with the costume, wig, weapon, makeup, Cosplay photography, and post-processing meant I only needed to focus on posing—it truly felt delightfully effortless, like doing a full shoot without having to worry about a single logistical detail. The stylist handled this blue-and-gold ensemble with exceptional finesse; the feathered pauldrons and golden filigree displayed exquisite texture. Furthermore, pairing the high-slit skirt with the leg tattoo demanded meticulous attention to posture and body lines. The studio lighting technician set up fantastic side-rim lighting, making my skin look translucent while bringing out the rich, dimensional interplay of velvet and shimmering sequins.

We switched through several background sets for this shoot. The first set, featuring calligraphy scrolls paired with the pipe prop, easily channeled an air of unruffled poise, requiring a serene and calm gaze. The full-body studio shot against a solid blue background has been a personal favorite style recently: centered composition, accentuating elongated leg lines, and capturing the breeze-swept walking motion with razor-sharp timing. In the photo leaning against a wooden table holding a folding fan, the side angle flattered my silhouette beautifully, and the ink-wash pattern on the fan harmonized seamlessly with the outfit's classical grace.

There was also the set against the red velvet curtain backdrop, arms folded over a red carpet, exuding a commanding presence. The final set, seated amidst blossoms looking back, used gentle, soft lighting; surrounded by white and blue flowers, the ambiance felt exceedingly tender. Only after wrapping did I realize how much time each styling adjustment truly demands, especially aligning the hair ornaments and wig to match the character's nuanced details. The retoucher also practiced great restraint, preserving natural skin textures and the tactile grain of the fabrics without aggressive skin-smoothing, creating wonderfully balanced light and shadow.

The overall experience was remarkably professional. From pose direction to set design, it spared me the hassle of finding reference shots and planning themes on my own. For this Ningguang birthday celebration project, preparations were thorough; the costume had great structure and fit securely without slipping during shooting. Holding the pipe for extended periods wasn't too tiring either, and the prop fidelity was superb. It was a thoroughly hassle-free Cosplay photography experience, and the final results fully met my expectations.
