This time, I'm sharing a set of guest photos for Kaedehara Kazuha cosplay. The overall tone of the shoot was set to be soothing, aiming to present the character's carefree, go-with-the-wind, and calm demeanor in the frames. To capture this sense of relaxation, we did quite a bit of homework on props and set design; after all, capturing the character's true spirit requires not just costume accuracy, but also crucial environmental ambience.

First, let me talk about the wig styling and makeup. The silver-white strands were styled into airy, layered wisps, with the red hair ornament on top and red highlights behind the ear serving as key points of character recognition. I specifically adjusted the position of the red ribbon when wearing it so it looked naturally tied between hair strands. For makeup, the focus was on emphasizing golden eyes, drawing eyeliner with a subtle upward flick, complemented by contouring to highlight facial dimensionality, while choosing a low-key nude lip color so as not to steal focus from the eyes. The outfit featured crisp, structured fabrics—a short white coat with red and black patterns, paired with leather straps and metal buckles, creating rich visual layers. The gold-and-black shoulder armor on the left shoulder was securely fastened, complete with red tassels on the edge that added dynamic flair as they swayed during poses or when sitting.

The shooting set was an interior decorated in Japanese-style photography fashion. In the tea break shot, I deliberately simulated the character quietly sitting down to enjoy a cup of tea; the small teaware, alongside books and the warm glow of paper lanterns, delivered a moment of inner tranquility. Two other photos were taken on a swing and a bamboo mat. In the shot lying on the bamboo tatami, I held a red maple leaf in hand, attempting to close my eyes and open them slightly, capturing the imagery of taking a brief rest under tree shade right after ending a long journey. Unexpected props were also featured in the pictures, such as blue and green birds perched on the shoulder armor, and a cluster of pink blossom branches held in hand. These elements made me feel that this character is not just a wandering samurai, but someone soft-hearted who genuinely loves nature and the wild outdoors.

Speaking of the flower branches and birds, I had to be extremely careful to keep my movements gentle during shooting. The textures of the flowers and models were delicate, so to prevent stiff posing, the photographer constantly guided my breathing and center of gravity to capture that natural feel of \"a wild breeze brushing against robes.\" One of the birds was actually quite tricky to perch on the shoulder armor, ultimately secured with a little trick; thus, every demeanor presented before the camera had to be tuned just right to avoid misaligned sightlines. This immersive Roleplay experience is honestly one of the parts I enjoy most in cosplay.

I have always loved the spiritual core behind this character—that spirit of \"listening freely to the wind's song.\" Unbound by worldly constraints, carrying cherished memories of old friends and hopes for the future, he wanders through the vast world. Therefore, the theme for these photos was to convey this wind-like, crystal-clear mood. The photographer's lighting and composition were a massive help, utilizing softboxes to cast warm rim lighting that, combined with shadow transitions, beautifully showcased the folds and textures of the costume. Although some props required adjustments during shooting, the overall atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable, which reflected in the final output. I hope these Cosplay convention photos, filled with autumn poetry and a touch of wandering samurai spirit, allow everyone to feel Kaedehara Kazuha's independent, noble character in Genshin Impact.
