[Nikki Cosplay] Capturing the Lively Moments of Shining Nikki in Front of a Fairytale Wooden Cabin

This costume has so many details. The red bow at the neckline and the crisscross laces around the waist are the visual focal points, so during the shoot, I paid special attention to keeping my movements open and graceful so these details wouldn't be obscured. The pose in Photo 2 with one leg extended actually took quite a lot of effort to balance my center of gravity while getting the skirt flair angle just right; I adjusted in front of the mirror several times before finding the most natural resting point. The fluff on the white short boots looks wonderfully plush under the warm yellow light, and paired with matching tights, the overall look blends seamlessly into the scene without feeling out of place. The shooting location was a meticulously arranged indoor garden where the cabin's round windows and vine plants served as great natural props. I tried my best to create interactions between my body and the background, such as the tilt of my chin when looking up at the chandelier overhead, or extending my arms to echo the curves of the wooden house. In post-processing, I only slightly adjusted the color temperature to unify the warm tones, avoiding excessive skin retouching since the studio lighting in the raw photos had already rendered a very soft, three-dimensional depth. As a cosplayer, I habitually consider the character's designated aura—vibrant, sweet, yet with a touch of playfulness. Therefore, I intentionally refrained from an exaggeratedly sweet smile, opting instead for a subtle head tilt or a relaxed mouth curve to stay closer to a natural, everyday cuteness. The biggest challenge during this shoot was remaining stable while standing on the stones above the water's surface. The stones were a bit slippery, so I completed these two shots almost tiptoeing; thankfully, the flowing lightness of the skirt in the final photos wasn't affected at all. The little rabbit ornaments and mushroom decorations in the venue were also great additions. Though not deliberately forced, they naturally formed the foreground of the shots, making the fairytale ambience of the set even more complete. When selecting the final images, the dynamic movement in Photo 2 fit the theme of \"Shining\" much better, so I picked it as the cover photo, hoping to convey that lighthearted and lively feeling.
