The slots for August are now open; currently, our schedule and TFP photoshoots for July are completely full. This month, we primarily plan to focus our energy on advancing new studio and outdoor projects. My partner and I maintain our dual-photographer configuration (one male and one female photographer), which allows us to better capture the highlights from different perspectives during communication. In terms of equipment, besides regular prime and zoom lenses, we have ultra-wide-angle and fisheye lenses on hand. These are highly suitable for experimenting with exaggerated compositions that offer strong perspective, great tension, or a touch of parody within the studio or featured locations, adding uniquely styled memorable points to conventional photoshoots.
Looking back at some recently released pictures (as shown in the images), whether it's combat-style elements in a pure white background studio, a bunny-ear look with special props, a retro warm-toned suit style studio portrait, or outdoor bamboo forest shoots and street sunset backlit portraits, we actually really enjoy the fun of challenging details in different environments. In the photography and post-processing stages, our requirements for light and shadow details, makeup and hair texture, subtle fabric folds, and the capture of expressions are relatively refined. We hope to thoroughly chat with you about shooting ideas and storyboard outlines before the shoot to cultivate our chemistry in advance. This way, when the official shoot begins, both parties can concentrate their energy on handling spontaneous inspirations instead of scrambling on-site.
Regarding the details for outdoor and studio shoots, we need to sync clearly in advance. For the outdoor shooting part, since we carry a massive amount of equipment outdoors, we prioritize public transportation as our main way of traveling. We will only consider hailing a cab on rainy days or if the destination is more than one kilometer away from a subway station; we hope the Guangzhou cosplayer can understand this point. If outdoor shoots involve admission tickets or entry fees for various venues, we need to split them equally. For studio shoots, we need to share the studio rental costs. These rules have been repeatedly emphasized in the post, and we hope to find Guangzhou cosplayers who can accept these conditions.
Although it is a TFP photoshoot by nature, the essence is a process of mutual selection. We do not really accept beginner partners who completely lack finished photoshoot experience, nor do we accept invitations that lack reference photos, making it impossible to confirm the makeup/styling and expressiveness. If you are an old friend confident in your acting skills and strength, or have original costumes with your own unique ideas, regardless of whether they fit the specific styles emphasized in the poster, you can shoot us a DM to chat anytime. After all, photography creation values eye contact and aura alignment more than rigidly pressing the shutter according to a designated character. We are also very easygoing during communication and won't make the atmosphere very solemn, but we highly value patience and concentration during the shooting process.
August is the height of summer, so the shooting time for outdoor shoots might lean more toward the night scene phase after sunset to avoid physical exhaustion caused by the intense heat and harsh, direct light. Lately, we've also been keeping an eye on locations suitable for night views or indoor retro scenes, hoping to shoot a few sets of stunning pictures this month. We have a long way ahead, and we believe that every completed photoshoot will be the best reward for the aesthetics and dedication of both parties.
