When I shot this Pujun set Wanhua loli cosplay, it happened to be peak blooming season in the flower field. Low purple flower clusters stretched out endlessly, with white blossoms heavy overhead. The well-orchestrated colors perfectly matched the black and purple tone of this outfit, as if adding a natural layer of soft light and ambiance.

The most noteworthy aspects of this outfit are its cut and color scheme. Silver lines on the black main body outline winding cloud patterns and plant contours, restrained without looking cluttered. The neckline and cuffs transition into light purple, and the wide streamers drape nicely when walking, swaying gently with every movement to look both dynamic and soft. The large purple bow fixed on the chest, along with the headpiece and tassels hanging from the shoulder, add rich layers to the details. Combined with the silver crown, the overall look gains strong recognizability.

To fit the theme of a spring flower field, I specially prepared two sets of different props for this photoshoot to allow more scene transitions. One is a black-based hand-held prop styled with a white ice-cream texture, topped with cute sprinkles; the other is a woven flower basket filled with lush purple flowers. Props do more than just embellish; often, they help the model find a more natural state.

For makeup, I opted for a light, natural base. The eye makeup used soft purple-pink shades blended smoothly. Paired with the long blunt bangs and straight black hair of this outfit, the goal was to keep the charming innocence of a young girl without letting heavy makeup overpower the light feeling of the clothes. The photographer handled the light exceptionally well—natural sunlight filtered through the branches, creating a very soft rim light on my face.

During the shoot, the photographer and I communicated several different poses. The first photo is a static front-facing display holding the prop, focusing on showing the full completeness of the outfit. For the second photo, I switched to a slightly playful pose, resting my index finger against my chin and holding the flower basket for a more relaxed and casual feel. The third photo captured a dynamic moment with one leg slightly raised and long sleeves flung up, fully stretching out my pose; it not only demonstrated the draping effect of the wide sleeves but also filled the image with vitality and movement. I personally favor the third picture as the cover, because the folds of the clothing and the lighting harmonized perfectly at that instant, with no awkward cropping at the edges.

The images shared here are all unedited raw shots or simple compositions. Under abundant natural light, this kind of flower field outdoor shoot doesn't really need complex post-processing. The bokeh from the wide aperture naturally filters out messy branches and background, focusing all visual attention on the character herself. The black clothing creates a striking contrast against the light purple and white flower field, making the textures stand out remarkably well.
