The combination of a Maid outfit and a sweet cupcake sparks a wonderfully unique chemistry within the everyday, lived-in ambiance of a kitchen. The core concept for this shoot was to bring out the adorable, gentle side of Privaty from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE in a cozy home setting.
The photography crew organized everything with exceptional professionalism. The team at SG-image oversaw the visual tone from prep to final shots, with special thanks to Zhiyun, SYNCO, and TILTA for providing professional equipment support. In particular, the Zhiyun X100 RGB fill light and TILTA rigging gear used throughout provided ample atmospheric lighting. For lighting design, natural light streaming through wooden blinds served as the key light, paired with the Zhiyun X100 RGB constant light for side rim-lighting. This not only rendered the skin naturally radiant and translucent, but also preserved the lustrous sheen of the hair while beautifully sculpting the textures along the edges of the Maid outfit and the intricate ruffles and lace across the skirt.
For the costume, I chose a classic black-and-white Maid outfit featuring a fresh ruffled neckline on the bodice paired with a black bow tie adorned with golden buttons, striking a balance between daily life ease and refined elegance. The visual anchor of the styling remained the combination of the White thigh-highs outfit and platform shoes; the white over-the-knee socks flattered the leg lines remarkably well, and sitting on elevated kitchen countertops captured stunning highlights and lighting layers. For the hairstyle, I wore a signature teal-blue straight long wig with wispy natural bangs, topped with a white-and-black ruffled headband to convey a sweet, obedient, and playful character.
The small cake was an indispensable prop, and I constantly interacted with it throughout the shoot—holding it before my chest, balancing it on one palm to display it, or resting a finger against my lip in a cute gesture—all effortlessly conveying the relaxed and delightful domestic vibe in this Anime-style photography set. Shooting in an authentic kitchen setting, the everyday appliances—such as the sink, rice cooker, wooden shelving, and glass jars—effortlessly enriched the frame's texture, lending strong realism without excessive artificial staging. Daylight paired with RGB color-temperature adjustments instantly maxed out the atmosphere, and the shoot flowed seamlessly with the crew snapping numerous candid, vivid moments in Privaty cosplay.
Delivering a satisfying photo set relies on seamless synergy among makeup, hair, wardrobe, lighting, composition, and props. With meticulous attention paid to both the Maid outfit's recreation and the overall cozy atmosphere, I sincerely hope everyone feels the heartfelt dedication and polish in this work.
