The main highlight of this shoot is this pair of Character-accurate contact lenses. There was absolutely no need to edit the eyes in post-processing to get the final photos, and the patterns stayed stable without rotating during the shoot, which is very friendly for someone like me whose cosplay contact lenses usually slide around easily. When choosing the lenses, I repeatedly compared several styles with different eye colors, and ultimately chose this blue-and-pink gradient Character-accurate contact lens because its color tone perfectly matches the overall wig and light-blue outfit.

During the Anime-style makeup and styling process, I intentionally toned down the eyeshadow colors, focusing instead on the shape of the eyeliner and the curliness of the lower lashes. To complement the magnifying effect of the cosplay contact lenses, the eyeliner was extended slightly outward, and clump-style falsies were chosen for the lower lashes. Together with the fine glitter spread beneath the eyes, it created an eye contour with a dreamy feel. The base makeup had to be applied cleanly and translucently to make the bright-colored wig show a natural, radiant luster and avoid a dull look.

For the accessories, I chose a silver chain choker with stars and pendants; its delicate and exquisite craftsmanship prevented the look from appearing monotonous in the details. The light blue feather hair accessory on the head, the translucent white lace along the edges of the costume, and the drawstring design at the collar together formed the color keynote of this outfit. During the shoot, I used cool purple ambient fill light, which not only highlighted the facial contours better but also added more layers and texture to the colors of the clothes and wig.

The shooting process went much smoother than expected. I was initially worried that the thick white wig would overshadow my eyes and make them look lifeless, but by adjusting the volume at the crown, properly styling the bangs, and using the axis-fixed Character-accurate contact lenses, my gaze captured a sense of serenity that I hadn't tried before. Trying this specification of eye color for the first time, the overall photo results truly exceeded my expectations, looking much more fitting for the character's setting than wearing ordinary colored lenses. Once you find the right combination of base makeup and lighting, the visual advantages of Character-accurate contact lenses can be maximized.
