Today I shot Sunna from Zenless Zone Zero. The chosen venue for this shoot was an offline KFC collaboration branch. Since official collaboration character standees were on-site, we were able to incorporate them for playful interactive poses. Sunna's Delusion Angel styling carries a remarkably vibrant vibe, with a color palette centered mainly around white, pink, and black.

First, regarding wig styling: the mint green twin tails look delightfully refreshing, but bright-colored wigs easily reflect light and lose their premium texture under indoor overhead lighting. Before shooting, I used a flat iron to give the ends a subtle inward curve, while using styling wax on the crown to define hair-strand textures, preventing it from looking like a helmet. For the tiny hair clips and cross ornaments on the wig, I specifically tracked down matching metallic charms to anchor them securely so they wouldn't slide off during head turns or posing.

For makeup, to match the aesthetic of anime characters, I put on light-colored contacts, set the eye makeup with a soft pink wash, and deepened the outer corners. Blush was applied relatively high on the cheekbones to evoke an energetic, vibrant charm. Because Sunna has a lively personality, I chose a tender pink tone for the lipstick.

The outfit is packed with intricate details. The short-sleeved white shirt features subtle puff sleeves that beautifully accentuate the neck and shoulder lines. The red necktie at the collar is the soul of the look; I used a safety pin to secure its shape so it wouldn't shift off-center during movement. For the pink-and-white striped arm warmers, I intentionally pulled them slightly higher to bunch around the upper forearm, visually keeping the arms looking slender. The black tiered ruffle skirt carries great volume, swaying naturally with bodily movement to offer rich dimensional layers.

What satisfied me most was the leg styling. I wore sheer white Stockings as a base, layered over with pink striped slouch socks. The right leg features a thigh garter strap, while the left is adorned with a black strap sporting a blue bow. This asymmetrical styling creates strong visual punch; to keep the garters in place, I secured them inside with double-sided tape so they wouldn't slip during the shoot. On my feet, a pair of pink chunky platform shoes was not only comfortable but also elongated my leg proportions in full-body shots.

The shooting process truly tested the chemistry with the photographer. Since we were interacting with an acrylic standee of fixed height, we explored numerous camera angles, ultimately having the photographer crouch down or stand slightly elevated to shoot from eye level or a gentle high angle. I posed with finger hearts, peace signs, and slight squats, striving to make the two figures in frame appear to be conversing and connecting. The store's checkered wall backdrop offered great leading lines—its red lines against a white base never overwhelmed the visual focus on the character.

The biggest challenge of indoor shooting was uneven lighting; KFC's lighting consists largely of overhead lights, which cast harsh facial shadows. I had the photographer reposition the fill light to illuminate from an oblique side angle and placed a reflector below to brighten the face and legs. The black skirt easily loses detail under harsh lights, so in post-processing I lifted shadows slightly to let the texture of the ruffles emerge.

Overall, this Sunna Delusion Angel look beautifully balances everyday casualness with anime grandeur, offering great wearing comfort and flexible mobility. The KFC collaboration setting also provided plenty of shooting inspiration, making this cosplay project feel especially lively and natural.
