[Belle cosplay] New Eridu Streets and Sixth Street's Cyberpunk Daily Life

Walking on the streets of Sixth Street in this outfit, it feels as if the entire atmosphere of New Eridu has been materialized. This time, I chose to recreate Belle from Zenless Zone Zero. From the orange hairpins at the front of the wig to the printed pattern on the inner T-shirt, and this color-blocked techwear vest, a lot of homework went into the clothing details. To align with the characteristic texture of New Eridu as a cyberpunk city, this shoot specifically chose nighttime city streets and iconic crosswalks as the backdrop.

The biggest difficulty with this look was actually balancing the layering of the trousers and skirt. When layering them, I had to ensure that the range of motion didn't affect the overall silhouette, so many fine-tuning adjustments during the shoot were about adapting seamlessly to the lens. The cooperation with photographer Master Yiming was highly synchronized; he is excellent at using wide-angle lenses to amplify the depth of the streets while also capturing many small accessories I specially prepared, such as the silver chain on my chest and the buckled small bag.

During the shoot, we actually experienced some interesting moments. There was quite a bit of traffic on the streets at night, but many passersby and nearby merchants were very cooperative, allowing us to capture a very safe sense of framing in a daily scene like a crosswalk. I personally am very satisfied with the quality of the gaze in the final photos this time; these light blue contact lenses combined with cool expression management can instantly immerse people into the character's state.

The post-processing color grading of this set preserved the contrast between the cyan-blue of the streetlights and the orange-red of the neons, perfectly matching New Eridu's color tone. New Eridu itself is a highly inclusive place, and the everyday feel of Sixth Street forms a wonderful chemical reaction with my Street Techwear style outfit. Every time I put on a new outfit to re-interpret a character, I find traces of their lives within specific scenes. The few pictures shared this time cover several different dynamic moments such as standing, sitting, and walking, hoping to showcase this edgy New Eridu street vibe to everyone through this piece of cosplay photography.
