This photoshoot centered around Sunna's Angels of Delusion look from Zenless Zone Zero. Preparing this pink-and-white outfit took quite a bit of time. The mint-green wig needed its bangs re-trimmed, and the green horns and bow clips on both sides had to be carefully glued and fixed in place to maintain proper head proportions. The pink telephone backpack was the centerpiece prop; its physical size is quite large with a rear-heavy center of gravity, requiring tight straps to keep it stable, which greatly tested my back muscle endurance during the shoot. The white thigh-high Stockings on my legs were paired with pink straps and black leather belts; to showcase natural long-leg proportions, I had to make extensive adjustments to leg muscle tension while posing.
The real-scene studio in Guangzhou featured a soft lavender background and a white plush carpet, paired with a white rattan chair and pink flower stands, creating a harmonious color palette. The photographer used large softboxes for lighting to minimize harsh shadow contrast, keeping the light-colored aesthetic clean and gentle. For poses, whether looking back while sitting sideways or holding the telephone in front and pointing at the lens, I had to adjust my center of gravity to accommodate that bulky backpack. Especially when holding the prop pose, I usually held my breath as the shutter clicked to prevent hand tremors. The key to a tsundere expression lies in slightly tucking the chin and lifting the gaze with a steady stare; paired with the red bow tie and black skirt, capturing the intended vibe required repeated fine-tuning of expressions and angles. Mid-shoot, a strap buckle came loose, so we temporarily secured it with a black bobby pin. Throughout the shoot, because the plush carpet was soft, finding toe leverage was tricky and truly tested physical coordination. When shooting different angles, I also had to constantly watch whether the pink thigh straps were tied too tightly to cause an unnatural bulge, loosening them when necessary. Although this styling has many elements, through meticulous makeup and styling, sharp camera capture, and precise control over movement details, the final images achieved high visual recognizability and a very solid overall completion.
