This time cosplaying Odette, the white swan of Snezhnaya from Genshin Impact, the overall blue-and-white color scheme is very cool and icy. To fit the snow-and-ice theme, the wig was chosen to be light blue with a gradient feel, and the silver wing hair accessory on top of the head is the focal point. It took a long time to fix with hairspray and bobby pins, adjusting it to an angle that can stand up without looking abrupt. The fit of the forehead ornament was also fine-tuned to ensure it reflects exquisite cold light under different angles of light.

There are plenty of details in the costume. The dark blue glossy material on the chest reflects a texture similar to ice crystals under the light, and the golden three-dimensional decorations dotted on the edges and the white feathers at the shoulders add a sense of gorgeousness. The lace trim of the puff sleeves is a bit itchy, but it can be completely ignored for the sake of the overall styling effect. The skirt hem is multi-layered, and to ensure it can support that fluffy effect during mirror selfies, a moderately rigid invisible petticoat was added inside. The dark patterns on the outer light blue skirt hem look like vines or ice crystals, and the sequins on the inner dark blue skirt hem are particularly eye-catching under the lighting. The dark blue long gloves are paired with gold heart-shaped decorations; special care must be taken when wearing them to avoid snagging the lace edges.

The lower body is paired with white stockings and silver high-heeled single shoes. These stockings are translucent white with great texture; they don't reflect light to look cheap, and paired with the silver shoe uppers, they visually greatly elongate the leg lines. To present a good state in the mirror selfie, adjusting the posture is very important. I chose to sit on the ground with my legs crossed and extended, which not only fully displays the layers of the skirt hem, but also showcases curves through leg extension. The second shot turns slightly sideways with one leg bent at the knee, revealing more details of the skirt hem. Blocking the face with the phone is also a small trick; not only does it save the trouble of face retouching, but it also increases the sense of mystery, making people focus their attention on the clothing and figure.

In terms of lighting, I chose a side light source, which not only makes the sequins and metal decorations of the costume sparkle more when hitting the body, but also casts nice profile shadows on the wall, increasing the spatial sense of the frame. The ground is covered with a light-colored carpet, which can well set off the color of the costume. Overall, I wanted to present a noble snow-and-ice feel unique to Snezhnaya. This style, which is both cool and gorgeous, paired with these detail-packed garments, is truly very photogenic. During the shoot, one must pay attention to keeping the waist and back straight; even when sitting, one cannot relax, so that the clothes can be held up properly. Although the whole process was tedious, seeing the effect of the final photos made me feel that all the preparation was worth it.
