[Vivian Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.1 Miyou-Only Convention Photos Collection

The convention photos collection for Version 2.1 Miyou-Only is finally organized up to the 5th installment, and this set of Vivian cosplay shots is the set I wanted to share most from this convention. Although we've reached Version 2.6 now, every time I cosplay this character, there is still a very special nostalgic affection in my heart. The character design of Vivian actually has numerous details; to faithfully recreate this image, a lot of effort went into hair and makeup during preparation.

First, talking about the overall styling, I selected her classic everyday look this time. The purple long wavy hair is highly recognizable; to make it look more natural, I added white highlights from the hairline to the bangs, and deliberately made the curls fluffy so they show better layers under outdoor natural light. The pairing of elf ears adds a touch of cool detachment and fantasy to the character. For the eye makeup, I used warm red eye shadow to echo the eye color, making the overall gaze lively without looking overly sharp, while selecting a softer lip color to neutralize the overall cool tone.

The layering of the outfit is a part I care about immensely. The inner white shirt features exquisite striped cuffs and cufflinks, layered with a black vest and corset belt outside. The massive blue-purple bow knot at the collar is truly the soul of this outfit, accented perfectly by a crystal gem in the center. The white ruffles on the skirt hem along with the black-and-blue laced straps form a lovely response to the outfit's general color palette. While shooting, I switched between several poses—whether holding that custom-printed purple umbrella or holding a glowing wand prop, both created wonderful interactions with the outfit.

I especially want to highlight the Itasha paired for this shoot, giving huge thanks to the car owner for their cooperation! The car was wrapped in a purple-and-black themed vinyl, with rose and bow patterns matching Vivian's color scheme almost seamlessly. Throughout the Cosplay photography session, whether sitting on the car roof, standing next to an open door, or sitting on the hood, the car's anime wrap served as a fantastic atmospheric backdrop. I particularly love the photos sitting on the roof holding the umbrella: the weather was lovely, and light hitting the umbrella surface revealed that unique purple-and-white flower radial print on the inner layer, alongside black bird silhouettes on the edge, instantly giving the frame a storytelling feel like an Old Dreams Encore.

Photographer Teacher Ah Bin captured many dynamic moments this time. For instance, when I sat on the car hood, the leg lines wearing tights paired with chunky high heels and the umbrella's black shaft lying across my body made a composition that was balanced while stretching the silhouette long and slender. There were also several detail close-ups and photos holding plush dolls and New Year pillows, capturing a texture full of love. Regarding lighting treatment, this set relied entirely on natural light to express skin texture and wig glossiness, achieving quite a high level of accuracy.

As convention photos, this set serves as a deeply satisfying record for me. From outfit details to prop coordination and utilizing specific scenes, every effort was made so everyone could see the character's gentle yet slightly mysterious demeanor. Doing cosplay is not merely about replicating a character; it is expressing my appreciation for the character's design aesthetic through the lens. These photos were not over-edited, mainly aiming to convey a genuine sense of meeting in person. I hope this set allows everyone to see the uniquely healing and exquisite charm of Vivian!
