[Hoshimi Miyabi cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Office Lady Uniform with Black Stockings: Mastering the Aura

Today, I finally brought Hoshimi Miyabi's Office Lady uniform styling to life. I had originally planned to use height-boosting insoles, but rushed out the door and forgot them, leaving me to rely entirely on high heels to carry the commanding aura. Fortunately, the stiletto heel height on these black patent pumps was generous enough, so standing tall still delivered great bodily proportions.

The overall ensemble leans heavily into a sleek, capable Onee-san / Mature woman style. The white button-down shirt features a slim, tailored silhouette with crisp lines along the collar and chest pocket, harmonizing with Hoshimi Miyabi's clean, razor-sharp temperament. The lower half features a high-waisted black bodycon pencil skirt paired with sheer Black stockings offering an even gradient, visually elongating the leg lines. A skirt cut like this is remarkably unforgiving of sloppy posture—whether sitting or standing, constant vigilance was needed to keep the hemline contour clean, requiring me to secretly engage my core the entire time to avoid looking sluggish on camera.

The first mirror selfie serves as a casual snapshot before kicking off the shoot. Under bright ambient room lights against an untidy backdrop of white muslin and fans, I snapped a quick frame while holding a document folder. Without stylized lighting, the shot mainly verified how the fabric draped under neutral light and checked overall proportions. The sheer black stockings took on a subtle luster under the strong lights, bouncing off the patent sheen of the stilettos nicely.

The second image transitions into the formal studio setup. Switching to a deep gray backdrop with directional downlighting and side accent keys created a completely transformed mood. A mahogany desktop, a vintage typewriter, a stack of aged books, an ID badge pinned to my chest, and a clipboard in hand immediately evoked the feel of an undercover operative in the corporate world. I personally adore narrative-driven lighting; long dramatic shadows extended my silhouette, lending an organic poise to looking down over documents. Because the outfit fits snugly, physical movements had to remain measured to prevent the shirt from bunching or wrinkling.

The trickiest aspect of shooting Hoshimi Miyabi in this uniform was preserving her core personality while making such an everyday outfit visually striking. Beyond garment tailoring, styling the wig and dialing in the makeup claimed considerable time. The wig was layered with bangs veiling part of the brows and eyes; paired with a cool-toned foundation and a subtle winged eyeliner flick, it brought out her signature icy detachment. For the stockings, I tested several deniers before settling on this semi-sheer, ladder-resistant pair that offered a snug, flattering fit without restricting movement.

Looking back across the session, this look offered fantastic expressive range—balancing the strict discipline of a corporate uniform while subtly celebrating feminine curves through black stockings and stilettos. The joy of studio shooting lies in continually recalibrating angles to freeze the absolute best frame. My legs were definitely sore afterward, but seeing the polished texture of the finished images made every bit of effort worth it.
