I've put together a collage of the cosplay photoshoots accumulated throughout 2025. From tactical style to academy style, and from fantasy magic to fairy tale picture books, it basically covers the primary visual directions I focused on over these past months. I still insist on doing my own makeup styling and wig processing, and most of the props were carried out by myself as well. Consider this a visual review of my technical accumulation at the end of each year.
As a cosplayer permanently based in Dongguan-Shenzhen, I'm usually relatively free on weekends and can roll out well-conceived outdoor cosplay projects at any time. My main focus this year is on works like Arknights, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. My fandoms are admittedly a bit diverse, so I really hope to connect with cosplayers and open-minded fellow fans to start groups or plan some cross-franchise group photoshoots.
Given the social dynamics within the community, I prefer to connect with cosplayers who are over 20 years old for online networking. Personally, I am not very into content with overly high BL concentration; I hope our interactions will be pure, straightforward communication regarding creative work. In daily interactions, I value reciprocity quite a bit—if you share passionately, I will respond actively. Therefore, I occasionally clean out my friend list, hoping that those who remain are friends capable of positive interactive feedback.
I would also like to take this opportunity to scout some candidates for a TFP photoshoot collaboration in Dongguan-Shenzhen for my 2026 shooting plans. Having shot plenty of conventional pretty-girl portraits, I really want to make some breakthroughs on a technical level. I especially hope to find photographers willing to jointly challenge outdoor cosplay themes for JoJo or Demon Slayer. If we want to capture the manga's tension in the JoJo series, apart from the character poses, the photographer also needs to grasp some unconventional perspective angles. Meanwhile, Demon Slayer is better suited to bamboo forests or wild mountains under rich natural light, presenting the serenity before a battle through dynamic candid captures with a sense of speed. For post-processing retouching, I'm used to a natural yet highly retouched style, adjusting makeup textures and the ambient atmosphere according to the specific character setting, rather than chasing excessive filter stacking.
I am also a female photographer currently learning Anime-style photography myself, so I highly welcome seasoned photographers or similar female photographers to exchange ideas and collaborate. I currently have some basic shooting equipment prepared and can coordinate gear compatibility before planning a shoot. Lastly, to reiterate my personal baseline: I do not shoot any suggestive or borderline NSFW content; everything is focused on character restoration and creative aesthetic beauty. Looking forward to creating more story-rich outdoor cosplay works together with on-the-same-page creators in 2026.
