During the shoot, the outfit imposed several restrictions on movements, particularly the spliced cut around the waist and abdomen where a certain distance between the top and skirt needed to be maintained. Choosing a sideways seated pose for the first photo was to visually elongate the legs, relying on pointed insteps combined with the texture of the lace socks to accentuate the leg lines nicely. The kneeling pose in the second photo was mainly to recreate the visual impact of cheerleader motions, requiring core engagement to keep the upper body upright, preventing the pom-poms from drooping and compromising the overall posture.
The prop pom-poms have a relatively stiff material that blocks some light when facing the camera directly, so holding them required careful wrist rotation to create natural shadows in the gaps rather than crushed blacks. White stockings tend to overexpose easily in studio shoots, so controlling the sheen required slight adjustments to camera angles and lighting ratios, which took some time to fine-tune.
In terms of facial expression, lowering the gaze slightly when tilting the head in the first shot, and keeping the eyes focused when facing the camera in the second, made subtle differences in expression management that directly affected the final delivered temperament. Coordination with the photographer was very smooth, and the captured angles effectively avoided stiff joint lines, making the shooting process highly efficient. Overall, this is a well-rounded studio cosplay work where both costume details and dynamic pose tension were beautifully preserved.
