[Yixuan cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero OL Headcanon, Today's Workplace Aura

The setting envisions Master Yixuan stepping into a daily office scene within the Zenless Zone Zero world. This OL headcanon was designed from the start to project a serious, professional workplace aura imbued with personal taste. Putting on black-framed round glasses, clipping on a minimalist staff ID card, and combining a black-and-white color scheme with long silver-white hair immediately settled my entire presence into something steady and grounded. On the shoot day, we specially found a clean, crisp office studio setup; grey metallic lockers and white storage boxes enriched the frame just right without cluttered distractions, allowing light to fall evenly across the subject.

Holding a blue-and-white marker pen served as a self-selected accessory prop. During shooting, I wanted to recreate the posture of routine office work or lesson preparation; the moment the pen tip paused near my lips was frozen in time, hoping to convey an analytical, contemplative interaction to viewers. Squatting in front of the chair to arrange the black pleated miniskirt, paired with back-seam black stockings and high-heeled black leather shoes, required trying postures multiple times to look natural. Handling light and shadow for black business attire severely tests precision—it must preserve the sheen and slimming silhouette of the pantyhose without letting the black look dull.

Regarding hair accessories and makeup styling for this look, detailed care was applied throughout. The silver-white hair with glasses setup deliberately raised the crown height while preserving wispy fringe hair; round-frame glasses highlighted eye expression beautifully in close-ups. The makeup artist slightly extended the eyeliner outline to make the gaze sharper. After all, Master Yixuan inherently possesses an authoritative instructional presence; even if this headcanon incorporates my personal interpretation, I still aimed to accurately capture that calm, focused, and occasionally formidable demeanor.

Small mishaps naturally occurred during the shoot. For instance, while adjusting seating posture once, I nearly bumped into an adjacent prop box, luckily stabilizing myself in time. Finding optimal camera angles required rounds of communication with the photographer—striving to elongate leg lines without making the seating posture appear contrived. During breaks, I pondered that if Master Yixuan truly worked in such an office environment, her desk pen holder would likely be filled with assorted markers and compasses.

Regarding the headcanon and OOC disclaimers mentioned earlier, I believe cosplay itself is a creator's concrete resonance with a character. Perfect fidelity to original lore is wonderful, but under specific creative themes, introducing headcanons can spark fresh visual synergy. For example, placing a character into a modern OL workplace environment and infusing everyday life realism makes the character feel more vibrant and authentic. That was precisely my original motivation for shooting this set.

From hair and makeup down to clothing and prop details, every step strived to restore an image both familiar and refreshed. I hope this photo set allows everyone to see another side beyond conventional impressions. The cool-toned black-and-white palette paired with aloof eyes indeed projects a unique workplace charm in the final images. Through this shoot, I thoroughly appreciated the character's focused, dedicated attitude. Achieving natural movements like adjusting collars or making eye contact before the camera was the ultimate goal accomplished.
