This time at the Zenless Zone Zero Fan Content Festival, I am cosplaying Remielle Dan, with an overall styling setting that is a combination of angel and dark elements. Let's first talk about the material and design of the costume: the upper body is black glossy patent leather spliced with a dark blue starry gradient corset, pierced by a metal zipper in the middle, and silver stars are printed on the skirt hem and bodice. The sleeves use black semi-transparent tulle, and the cuffs feature multi-layered ruffles that sway when walking. The headwear features a black bow and silver stars, paired with a pink short wig and elf ears. The facial makeup highlights red-pink eyeshadow, echoing the overall color tone.
A lot of thought went into the lower body matching. The dark blue pleated miniskirt has star patterns along the edge, and I'm wearing black sheer stockings, specifically choosing a style with a back seam to visually elongate the leg lines. A garter ring with a black bow and star pendants is tied at the thigh, connected to a thin silver chain. The shoes are black patent leather platform stiletto high heels, with black bows at the ankles. As for the back wing props, one side is a giant white feather wing, and the other side is matched with a small black feathered wing. This black-and-white contrast looks exceptionally photogenic in the studio and perfectly fits the theme of the angel girl.
The shooting location was chosen as a studio with white Roman columns and railings, and the light gray background happens to highlight the layering of the dark costume. When shooting, attention must be paid to the weight of the wing props. To prevent the shoulders from looking too stiff, the exertion points of the back and waist need to be constantly adjusted. Actions like lifting a leg and holding a hand high require core tightening to maintain balance, while also making the skirt arc look better. The look-back action requires controlling the angle of waist twist so that the back seam and leg curves can be fully displayed in front of the lens. The red-and-black floating ribbons and the chains on the stockings produce slight dynamics during movement, and these details add a lot of liveliness to the photos.
The atmosphere of this Fan Content Festival was great, and everyone exchanged many thoughts on character settings on site. Remielle Dan's outfit combines elegance and a sense of rebellion, and during the shooting process, I was also trying to showcase the tailoring characteristics of the costume through different standing poses and gestures. For example, crossing hands in front of the chest looks relatively well-behaved, while extending one hand outward has more tension. I hope this set of pictures can restore the texture of the clothes, the details of the props, and the overall fantasy atmosphere.
