[Yixuan cosplay] Elegance and aura under silver hair and black attire in Zenless Zone Zero

Choosing the Yixuan look for the Zenless Zone Zero creator incentive program, the overall shooting strategy centered on high-contrast black-and-white aesthetics. Under white studio backdrop lighting, the silver-white sheen of the wig collided sharply with reflections from the black glossy Leather style jacket—making it the most captivating aspect of this cosplay attire.

Outfit details underwent meticulous adjustments. The glossy black jacket material was prone to wrinkling in practice, but after careful ironing and styling, a crisp, structured frame emerged. Gold metal zippers and buckles served as brilliant embellishments, breaking up monochrome heavy blackness. The blue rose pinned at the collar, though small, provided an exceptional pop of color to highlight the black-and-white tone. White ruffled cuffs and the bow tie needed pure texture to maintain proper contrast with the heavy-duty outerwear. The white short skirt below required precise positioning during posing to ensure layered static composition without appearing cumbersome.

Leg styling was a key focal point of this look, pairing a well-fitted Black tights outfit with glossy black red-soled high heels. The semi-sheer texture of black tights combined with studio light sources beautifully accentuated leg contours. Choosing a slightly higher heel lengthened visual leg proportions, allowing a more slender yet powerful presence whether standing, seated, or in low-angle shots. Maintaining balance and center of gravity in these heels called for careful control, but amidst cold expressions and dynamic poses, that tension transformed into pure aura.

For pose design, we explored three distinct angles. The most relaxed was actually the third low-angle shot, lying directly on the floor with legs raised onto a transparent acrylic chair. From the top-down lens perspective, stretched toes and lifted leg lines directly showcased the outfit's silhouette. The transparent chair seamlessly merged into the white background without stealing the spotlight, keeping visual focus entirely on the subject and props. The black folding fan served as an essential prop; whether half-opened or resting naturally, it added a touch of static nonchalant grace.

For makeup, to match Yixuan's character temperament, the eyeliner was bolded with extended and winged-up outer corners. Reddish-brown eyeshadow created visual harmony with red lipstick and eye details. The small black bow hair accessory on the forehead acted as the key anchor for the hair, adding rigor to the high ponytail and cascading locks so it wouldn't look overly casual. Delicately applied highlights paired with base makeup brought out facial bone structure under strong studio lighting without over-reflecting or losing facial details.

Cosplay photography went smoothly as the photographer knew precisely how to control shadows against a white backdrop, giving proper exposure to both the glossy black leather and silver-white wig—preserving shadow details while illuminating facial expressions. The final photos achieved the intended vision, using contrast in light, shadow, and clothing textures to convey Yixuan's composed yet sharp composure in the world of Zenless Zone Zero through visual language. Black and white are timeless themes, but subtle touches of red and blue serve as the finishing stroke.
