The 37-degree scorching sun almost melted the beach, but the moment I stood on the rocky shore holding the violin bow, the heat waves brought by the sea breeze actually helped me get into character as Helektra much faster. As a photo shoot participating in the Honkai: Star Rail Creator Incentives Program, this outdoor session was filled with challenges from site selection to the final image creation.

This costume actually has many details, especially the semi-translucent black and blue gauze sleeves, the white pointed headpiece, and the cascading pearl necklace; under the intense light at the seaside, any slight carelessness could turn them into harsh blocks of color. To showcase a siren princess's exquisite yet slightly heroic temperament, everything from the purplish-red gradient highlights in the hairstyle to the coordination of the leg rings and ankle boots had to remain immaculate despite the high temperatures. The hardest part to control was the violin cosplay prop—not only did it need to be held steadily, but the angle of the bow also had to look elegant and natural through the lens. The sea breeze was very strong that day, causing the skirt hem and streamers to fly uncontrollably in all directions. I was originally quite worried that the shots would look too much like a female warrior, but unexpectedly, the wind turned out to be the best 'stylist,' endowing the gradient fabric and the mermaid-like hemline with a great sense of motion in the air.

This set of photos heavily tested the photographer's snapshot capabilities during our session of Cosplay photography. The terrain of the rocky beach was uneven, requiring us to pay attention to safety while capturing the most confident and composed expressions. When seeing the final photos, all the hardship of being exposed to the sun and sweating genuinely dissolved. The shimmering waves of the sea, the cold harshness of the rocks, and the integration of ocean and musical elements on Helektra ultimately presented an atmosphere of playing music both solitarily and confidently between the sea and sky. This is not just a simple roleplay, but an amazing scene-interaction experience. I especially love the few photos where I'm sitting on the jagged rocks; the cool sea breeze combined with the low-angle shot unexpectedly amplified my aura. I hope this melody from the seaside location shoot can convey that unique serenity and tension inherent to the character.
