Today's Qingxiao styling truly maximized a sense of lightness and ethereal grace. The wig was selected in a soft light-blue palette; after layering it with precise cuts, the curve of the ends had to be pinched piece by piece with styling wax to maintain a natural, airy volume before the camera. The pair of white dragon horn props atop my head took quite a while to polish to strike the right balance between texture and weight. Every contour line across the surface was hand-drawn, and mounting them required immense care to ensure stability without disturbing the bangs. The earrings featured blue-green tassels to inject a touch of dynamic movement while walking.

The outfit relies heavily on multi-tiered layering: an airy base layer draped beneath sweeping sheer veils and silk streamers. With high side slits along the skirt and exceptionally smooth fabric, it billowed gracefully with every step. Because the character design is barefoot, walking across the hard floors of the Anime convention hall was quite tough on my feet, forcing me to find a seat to rest between takes. The makeup followed a sheer, cool-toned aesthetic—the base was kept matte, the eyeshadow blended light blue into dusty rose, and the lip color leaned toward a muted nude, intentionally allowing the overall styling to take center stage.

Designing the poses for these two shots demanded intense effort. For the first mid-air floating shot, my entire core had to be engaged: crossing my legs mid-air while resting my right index finger before my lips and gripping my ankle with my left hand. To ensure the streamers and skirt hem billowed open fully mid-leap, we experimented repeatedly with jump timing and burst captures, setting a high shutter speed to freeze that exact instant. The second shot positioned atop a white circular platform was comparatively easier to manage, though maintaining the crossed-leg pose still exerted heavy pressure on my insteps—my legs went completely numb when standing up afterward.

The red cord tied around my wrist was a deliberate accent, introducing a splash of vibrant warmth into the cool-toned palette so the look wouldn't feel overly aloof. The ambient lighting at the convention was somewhat chaotic and the background was crowded with passersby; thankfully, the photographer kept the framing tight and opened up the aperture, melting the industrial ceiling and crowds into soft blur so the entire composition looked clean and focused. The shooting process came down to continually adjusting the flow of the drapery alongside subtle facial expressions to capture that serene yet commanding tension.
