This set of Touhou Project Inubashiri Momiji photos is finally meeting everyone. As a coser who particularly loves Outdoor photography, this time I chose a lush green garden waterscape as the background, hoping to restore Inubashiri Momiji's temperament of a Kemonomimi girl that coexists with wildness and cuteness belonging to the mountain forest to the greatest extent.

The overall costume is the classic red-and-white color scheme, with a strong Japanese style. What satisfies me the most is that pair of huge fluffy white Kemonomimi girl ears on the headwear. Wearing them is not only very cute, but during the shoot, I would deliberately feel their presence to help myself better enter the character's state. To echo the ears, there are also white pom-pom decorations on the chest and shoulders. The prop sword in my hand is the soul of this whole photo set; when holding it in my hand, I would imagine myself patrolling, stepping into that protector's feeling. Although it's a prop, wielding it requires mastering the right amount of force, otherwise it's easy to disrupt the balance of the frame. The wide sleeve design looks great, but extra care must be taken when holding the sword and making movements to avoid making the fabric look too messy.

The weather on the shooting day was quite muggy, and the outdoor location had dense vegetation with quite a few mosquitoes. But this body of water and the moss-covered stones were extremely photogenic. I sat barefoot on a stone; when my feet stepped into the water, it was actually a bit slippery and also carried a chill, but for the sake of the picture effect, none of this mattered. The exact moment the water splashes flew up, the photographer captured it just right, and the resulting photos have a lively feel.

In action design, I tried poses like resting the chin in thought, pointing into the distance, and holding the sword with both hands. Because Inubashiri Momiji is a very vigilant and energetic character, in expression management, I tried to keep my gaze sharp while also carrying a bit of the cuteness belonging to a Kemonomimi girl. For example, the action of pointing diagonally upwards, matched with the gaze, felt like guarding territory. When sitting, because the skirt hem has lace and complex layers, I also deliberately adjusted the angle to let the skirt hem naturally fall, while showcasing the leg lines, making the frame look both powerful and soft. When standing on the stone steps, it was a completely different aura, requiring both legs to straighten to showcase the character's posture of being ready to act at any time.

For this shoot, I am very grateful to the photographer for capturing the angles. Outdoor photography is different from studio shooting; there are many uncontrollable factors in light and environment, but we used the natural greenery as a background to create a very fresh and vibrant atmosphere. Doing Anime cosplay is not just about putting on clothes, but experiencing the state of the character. This Inubashiri Momiji shoot, from costume arrangement to expression portrayal, gave me a deeper understanding of this character. I hope this set of pictures allows everyone to feel the charm of the character.
