This time I shot Komeiji Satori from Touhou Project, a look featuring a Pink tone as the main theme, paired with props like eyeball balloons to reinforce the character's traits. Before the shoot, I communicated with photographer Wakaba for a long time, wanting to present an atmosphere that is both soft and carries a bit of mystery, and we finally settled on this setting with a touch of fairy-tale feel. The large area of ruffles and blue silk bowknots on the pink Lolita-style dress, combined with the fluffy headwear, made the overall texture very rich. During the shoot, I specially adjusted my gaze and hand movements, hoping to capture that subtle feeling of the character being able to 'read minds.' As the core element, the eyeball balloon is not just a decoration, but also implicitly matches Satori's ability setting. The first close-up was mainly to test the penetration of the gaze, while the final full-body shot could completely present the scene, props, and character state; I am personally quite satisfied with the overall composition of that one. Although the lighting and prop placement took a long time to adjust on the day of the shoot, seeing the final photos made it all well worth it.
