[Ruan Mei cosplay] Misty Jiangnan in Honkai: Star Rail

I specially traveled to Zhejiang to shoot Ruan Mei's new skin. Although the weather wasn't very good and I couldn't take many photos, I'm already very satisfied just to experience this atmosphere in person. In my heart, Ruan Mei is like a woman who stepped right out of a misty Jiangnan—gentle yet holding a sense of detachment. This Ancient style dress has a lot of details: the white gauze top, the blue and gold spliced corset belt, plus the embroidered round fan in my hand, making the overall atmosphere blend perfectly with the real Jiangnan gardens scenery. Sitting on the stone railing by the pond during the shoot, I used the round fan for some face-covering and gentle waving gestures, keeping my gaze as dreamy as possible, hoping to capture that quiet and refined feeling. Even though the lighting was less than ideal, the final photos still carry a soft aesthetic. I really love this character, and I hope to have the opportunity to take even more satisfying photos of Ruan Mei in the future.
