Just wrapped up this shoot, and seeing the finished photos, this black, gold, white, and blue palette paired with glossy textures truly delivers a unique visual depth before the camera. A tremendous amount of preparation went into the costume details for this styling, especially the little black animal-shaped pendant at the neckline; its intricate metallic rings and blue-gold accents required meticulous adjustment so it wasn't merely a decorative item, but an organic part of the character's essence in Honkai: Star Rail. The reflective nature of the Patent leather jacket heavily tested on-set lighting—light hitting from different angles rendered completely distinct surface textures, perfectly recreating that sophisticated yet slightly sharp edge from the canonical design.

The wig utilizes a silver-gray tone that reflects a soft cool sheen under studio lights, capturing that Silver hair and blue eyes aesthetic. The delicate braid styled along the side of the cheek took far longer to weave than it looks, but it served as a wonderful balancing element, giving the entire hairstyle a clear structure and dynamic agility even with its voluminous fluffiness. For the contact lenses, I chose a high-vibrancy blue, forming a striking color clash against the reddish-orange eye makeup. When the studio lights hit my face, the subtle red blending around the eyes brought out much more expressive emotional depth than pure fair skin alone.

Many people asked about the wearing experience of this outfit. In fact, the upper-body structure is very ingenious: a white base layer paired with a black Patent leather jacket, creating crisp shoulder lines. Wearing fingerless gloves allowed my fingertips to touch the wig fibers directly, a tactile sensation that helped me slip into character much faster during the shoot. Because we don't just replicate costumes—we convey an atmosphere through demeanor. For today's eye expression, I tried to capture a nuance hovering between clarity and reverie, which perfectly resonates with the character's trait of wandering the boundary where illusion overlaps with reality.

Regarding the phrase 'Memory is the prelude to dreams,' I feel it is not merely a caption, but an expression of stance. During the shoot, I consciously let my gaze drift slightly into a daydream or faced the camera with a subtle, knowing smirk. The black choker fitting snugly against the neck, combined with that enigmatic pendant, visually anchors the focal point of the styling right around the neck and collar area. To preserve this visual weight, I specifically adjusted my head angles, letting the black headpiece adorned with a massive golden crescent motif and the edges of the blue cape spread naturally into the background, framing the face like a portrait.

Speaking of composition for this Cosplay photography session, we opted for tight close-up shots. This visual language intensely tests the cleanliness of the makeup and the sharp focus of the gaze. The glossy sheen of the Patent leather jacket and the light reflected from the golden rim of the headwear were left largely untouched in post-processing, as we wanted to retain that authentic, razor-sharp interplay of light and shadow from the set. Many might assume such dark-aesthetic styling creates a distant aloofness, but I deliberately chose softer facial expressions this time; because the color scheme incorporates pure blue and white against black and gold, it can actually present rich, multifaceted dimensions.

I truly enjoyed the feeling of wearing this voluminous hat in the studio today; it carries noticeable heft, providing fantastic visual extension whether in low-angle or high-angle shots. I hope to bring even more character-faithful performances in upcoming events. Today's share mainly focuses on styling details and shooting atmosphere.
